Informal Small Plate menus with sustainability at their heart. Once a month a completely vegetarian menu (begins 1st Wednesday of every month). Open for small plates at lunchtimes. Set menu dining each evening.
Great little cozy restaurant, serving such wonderful food with the best and the most AMAZING customer service from the waitress and chef!!!! imagine a table of 4, we had one vegetarian, one celiac and one who didnât eat fish and one that was just happy to eat and still nothing was a problem for them, they catered for us all and all the food was really lovely and really made us try foods cooked in a different ways. However when we asked if it was possible if we could have a cheeseboard made up which they had made up for us previously 1 & 1/2 hours into our meal the owner told us cold and very rudely that it wasnât possible because our time was up and we could only have what on the menu (This ruined the whole experience) - we still did have 1/2 hour left. We did appreciate they did make a massive effort with changing and swapping the food about to suit our food allergies and tastes, but her behaviour was not appropriate or professional. The evening was great until that point.Ohh and back to the cheeseboard ...when weâd asked where the cheese came from on the previous occasion, we went to the cheesemonger (George & Joseph) and we now regularly go there.. thatâs what small businessâs do, they support and help each other out! XWell this is the weirdest review we've ever had.Love everything we do, love the food we cook, love that we support other businesses. All of which is down to myself and my husband who have worked very hard to create a restaurant experience that everyone who joins us will enjoy. To maintain that high level of customer service though sometimes we have to decline certain requests. Going off menu for preferences rather than allergies, when there are other options that we're very proud of, is one of those instances. We don't offer a cheeseboard. We do offer two cheese dishes. They are excellent. I'm sorry you didn't want to try them or any of our dessert offerings. Truly baffled regarding your remarks about my behaviour. Its always difficult saying no to a guest, I genuinely hate this part of the job, but sometimes saying yes to some requests impact negatively on other diners. I realise that this may not be immediately apparent to those making the request but I do expect the decision to be taken in good grace. Sadly its not always the case which is why I am always the bearer of bad news and I never expect my staff to do this. But you are right. Claire and Connor are certainly excellent.

We went for breakfast and left after 30 mins of waiting to be served. It is a small place so it would be difficult to ignore two people sat at a table however, the waitress managed to ignore us very well. Can't comment on the food because we didnt have all day to wait around even to be asked if we would like a drink.Probably the rudest, unprofessional (lack of) service I have ever come across.

I found this restaurant on trip advisor as a good place to eat near The Emmerdale studios tour. First impression was fabulous, the interior is beautiful. A very modern and classy looking restaurant. We chose the lunchtime special menu. There was enough choice for us and at £15 for two courses it was quite good value. The garlic mushrooms were splendid. At least three different types of mushrooms served on a thick slice of toast. I chose flat iron steak for my main course, there was plenty, although no vegetables which I find strange. It was cooked to perfection. If I had any complaints it would be when the waitress took our order she asked if weâd like some water for the table. I expected tap water but she brought a bottle of water and charged £4.50 for it! I think this is an exorbitant price for water when we also had other drinks. The portion sizes are big and the taste was delicious. Iâll be back . Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with TripAdvisor. I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed your lunch with us, I hope you enjoyed the Emmerdale studio experience too! We look forward to seeing you again soon!Kind Regards,Amber

Wow, wow, wow! This place is absolutely amazing. The food, ambiance, quality & service are all outstanding. Lovely quiet & quaint little restaurant catering for (all dishes) gluten free plus options of dairy free, vegan & vegetarian.Such a breath of fresh air to be able to chose ANYTHING off menu & not worry about cross contamination. Highly recommend & accessible for those with mobility issues from rear of building. Staff incredibly helpful in assisting.

A traditional pub serving a Great Menu, a large range of Ciders and Award Winning Cask Ales!
I've been to this little gem of a pub many times recently. The Sunday roast is amazing, really generous portions and very reasonably priced. What I really love about this place is the staff. Always welcoming and smiling. Fabulous service every time. I'm going back next weekend!

Booked here on our recent visit to the area, and before traveling from Leeds Bradford for an evening meal. Nice relaxed modern venue. Friendly waitress and nicely cooked, reasonably priced food. Well recommended for an evening out. Both myself and wife enjoyed the ambiance and would return
