My family always brought from here when I was a child (they've moved away now). It's a lovely family ran business. I remember the kiddies always being given a free sausage from Benny, I'm not sure if they still do this. Loving food, with lovely service.

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat and stretch our legs as we were on a motorbike. At first we found the owner slightly abrupt and unfortunately they only served roast dinners on a Sunday. They were accommodating however and made us a sandwich which we were really grateful for. Couldnât fault the food served to be fair.

Visited here for my mumâs birthday and a Sunday roast. Two of the party had the roast loin of pork which was lovely and came with a selection of vegetables and massive Yorkshire puddings (always a bonus) the other had from the small menu on offer so if roasts arenât your thing you can always have something else.Save room for the chocolate brownies as they were warmed up with ice cream a real treat!

A group of 6, we visited for mid afternoon lunch. Menu was comprehensive and had the usual favourites on. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Food was very nice and there were no leftovers. Not sure I am in the same place as some of the other recent reviews? Will be back again next year.Thank you for your review from your recent visit. I come here fairly often and am never disappointed. Different teas on offer. I usually get a fresh salad and am never disappointed. Always crisp fresh and so much! I'm lactose and gluten intolerant but never leave here disappointed. So much choice. And the staff are friendly and helpful. And it is so reasonable!

While visiting a friend who lives in the area, we decided to pop in for a drink. We were not disappointed! Doffyâs is a true gem - beautiful homemade scones & the Irish tea really hit the spot! All the staff were so attentive & friendly, next time Iâm in the area I will definitely return!!
