Initially thought it would be busy as we went on Tuesday after August bank holiday and still being the school holidays but it wasn't. A couple of ladies were lunching and we were followed in by another small local family.Landlord was jolly and didn't waste a minute imparting his knowledge of wine, being an ex wine merchant. Don't expect fancy wines though, he sells Lidl's wines among others, which are just as good as other more expensive brands. But we're not here to talk about the wine. We ordered food which took over half an hour to arrive (maybe in the hope we'd drink more to stave off the hunger?).When our fodder eventually turned up we were all happy with it. The burger enjoyed by our daughter was very good. She also liked the accompanying BBQ sauce.Hubby had ham, egg and chunky chips which he enjoyed whilst I had the goats cheese on brioche toast with red onion marmalade. All were cooked well and our host kept his eye on us, making sure we had everything we wanted and were happy with everything. ! Don't attempt to go on August Bank Holiday because he doesn't open then. We went on Tuesday

Lovely character pub just on the outskirts of Great Malvern. Lots of free parking available on the road by the pub. I had booked a table (advisable) for the 3 of us for Saturday lunchtime in the restaurant area which is a bit quieter with more space than the bar area. The vegetarian tagine was excellent. Westons (still) and Stowford cider on draft.

Took my youngest, but grown up, son to Gallery 36 for lunch yesterday before he headed back to uni. Rather than visiting either of the two chain restaurants further along Bellevue Terrace we prefer to support a local business. We had a delicious lunch and couldnât recommend this place more highly. My home made veggie nachos with chilli beans were fantastic, while my son raved over his burger, fries and garlic bread. The service was great, portions large and prices very reasonable. We shall be back!

Havenât been here for years (since a really disappointing meal in the past)First impression still fantastic, decor, Very spacious comfy seating, ambience etc very attentive staff. Very good menu choose for a sat lunch. Vegan and vegetarian.I had the vegan burger (beetroot based) it was ok quite a large portion for a lunch but it didnât really taste of anything just spice! with great sweet potato fryâs.But the food was incredibly salty - spent the rest of afternoon drinking Water! My other lunch companions were very happy with there meals. But this is not the cheapest of restaurants. It was Nice that they left alone here and not rushed to eat and go.

Yes the table was very good and the casual furniture is very comfortable. First of all the service is VERY SLOW - and they were not busy .A starter of smoked salmon would normally come with thin sliced brown bread - but not here. We asked for some and were eventually brought some rolls but NO butter ! One of our fish and chips was burnt to a crisp and had to be replaced. Sea bass had only one small fillet and a minimum of vegetables and was grossly overpriced. The belly pork had been overcooked and also came with barely a vegetable. A rump steak was not very good and no steak knife was supplied until asked for. Then came the ice cream - it was very good but it had little crystals of sugar which should have been disssolved. We had remebered that this restaurant was pretty ropey under the old owners - it's no better now, just more expensive without any justification.Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. Regarding the comments about the starter, our menu does not state it comes with bread at all, although when asked, this was provided for you. We do not do slices of bread, we only provide another starter of 'home made bread rolls and olives' which can also be ordered. I am sorry to hear the haddock was not cooked to your liking, the staff working on the evening of your visit rectified this as soon as this was mentioned. Our menu and the meals we serve are all carefully chosen by our head chef, we work with local suppliers to be able to serve fresh and seasonal produce, this will reflect in the price due to the quality of ingredients we use. Our portion sizes are a staple regular size, although if some have a larger appetite we do offer side dishes, this allows the guest to enlarge their own meal to their desire. All our desserts are homemade and we are glad you enjoyed these.Regards to the 'old owners' ,the Hotel and Restaurant Owner has been the same owner for the past 17 years.Feedback is very important to us, we will pass your comments onto the team.Kind Regards, BenRestaurant Manager & Mulberry Team.

Ordered Nachos, they were okthen ribs with salad, cob and slawnot even a half rack, very little meat well over cooked so really chewysince when does Slaw not have Cabbage. Just using up Iceberg, cob was warm not served with butter, asked for some and ice cold, tepid cob and cold butter is a very poor corn on the cob.The beetroot was ok as was the red wineThe bill was not a deal breaker but poor quality food and for a little more effort and maybe a little more money, it would be ok.would be pushed to return

My partner and I went for lunch and ordered pasta, both dishes were excellent. We were also served homemade bread rolls that were so good we took our leftover rolls away with us! The staff and ambience were lovely, its elegant without being pretentious.

Another year and another birthday and another excuse to visit here which without doubt is my favourite restaurant on the island. This place never stands still and is always full of innovation and sets the bar very high for itself! As usual the food was stunning and such was the presentation I almost didnât want to move the food to eat it! On top of this the staff are great and professional without being stuffy which some up the whole establishment really. I would like to stay at the hotel to try the breakfast but unfortunately I only live down the road! ââï¸Thank you so much for visiting and an amazing review. It really is much appreciated by all of us.Chris, Barbara and all the staff

We were lucky enough to stay overnight here last night whilst visiting Malvern and decided to eat in this beautiful restaurant. Such an attractive setting over looking the countryside. Lots of choice on the menu. Our dinner was delicious and cooked to perfection. We chose River Trout and Chicken with basil and goats cheese. We thought the prices were very reasonable for the excellent quality. The interior is also incredibly stylish. I would strongly recommend this restaurant whether you are a couple or a larger group and I think it would be particularly nice for a special family gathering - enjoy!Hi RockHill_10,It was our pleasure hosting you, and thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. I am so glad you enjoyed the trout as it is one of my favourite dishes. We do have a private room available should you ever want to enjoy a family gathering here at Aldwyn's. Please do come and stay with us again sometime soon.

We tried this place partly as it looks so beautiful. Glad we did!My macaroni cheese with cauliflower was wonderfully warming and tasty. The tea was loose leaf and served with a biscotti. My companionâs croque monsieur was huge! The service was perfect, friendly and helpful. And itâs stunning in decor! The loos are clean, but upstairs so not so good if you have mobility issues. Iâll return :-)
