Just had my Husband's 50th Birthday party at the Crooked Billet. Absolutely perfect, food superb, staff are really great and lovely pub. We had the best time, the conservatory was perfect for our party of 21 and it was an evening to remember. With a huge thanks to all the team.

We ate two cooked breakfasts and two evening meals, food came piping hot and particularly enjoyed the natural smoked haddock with poached egg which was lovely, plenty of freshly brewed coffee or tea and choice of juices, range of mini pastries

Great place for a very reasonably priced breakfast, sausage, bacon, beans, hash browns, egg, toast for 2 people with unlimited tea less than £10. Massive place, lots of parking. Outdoor tables at the front for nice weather. Outdoor tables at the back for smokers. Children welcome.

Good choice of food, starter, main and dessert for £9,95, only complaint is Iâm usually too full to finish the dessert lolOften Choice of 3 meats with Yorkshire pudding. Came here for a evening meal When me and my other half arrived were greated by a lovely smiley staff member at the bar I think her name was Jessica dark hair with a fringe platted at the front Very polite girl with a lovely smile She asked if we had been before no we hadn't she told us how it work we find a table remember your table no and when it ready to order just come back up to the bar were one of the staff will be happy to take your orderMenu looked good so we both orderd mixed grill Pub wasn't overly busy so food didn't take long to arriveJessica came over and asked if everything was ok everything was fineOverall I would come back again the staff were friendly and the young girl Jessica with the( platt in her hair) she a credit to the pub so polite and smiley thank you Lindsay T, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Lord Gascoigne Garforth! I took my mum who is 95 for a Sunday lunch to the Skyliner , we decided to sample some of the wonderful selection of gins on offer whilst we were there , I can recommend the Seville orange and rhubarb and ginger , both beautifully served with raspberries and blueberries and citrus fruits and fever tree tonic , the presentation was far better than many cocktail bars.After a couple of drinks we chose to from the âtapasâ menu which is available everyday.We decided on the prawn cocktails, scampi, mushrooms, beer battered onion rings and Thai fish cake , all beautifully presented in true âtapas â style , we enjoyed everything , and complemented the dishes with a bottle of cold Prosecco .The staff made the occasion special too , thanks to Victor , Elliie and Ella and Danny for perfectly cooked tapas.We finished our meal with a Smoosh , made by Ella , I could have drunk a dozen !!! Definitely a must have especially the chocolate ones Thereâs no need to travel into Leeds centre for a special âoccasion â meals or any lunch or dinner when this restaurant has everything you could want , like the title of my review âcouldnât ask for moreâ !!!Also there is a beautiful poppy mural on the window in honour of remembrance,Thank you so much for your lovely review. The steaks were cooked exactly as we asked for and were excellent. A lot of choice for different sauces, potatoes, chips, mash etc. Even the lettuce was very good and fresh. Love the fact that this isnât your run of the mill sandwich place. I popped in for a quick takeaway lunch and was surprised by the choices on the menu. Chicken and avocado is delish and also the flatbread are amazing. Yes this is slightly pricier than your average subway of sandwich place but hey you pay for what you get. And I am more than happy to pay a little extra for good quality.Worth a visit they also do breakfasts and main meals and cater for kids.Glad you popped in and liked what you found.
