Milton Cottage used to be a B&B but it is now a small intimate restaurant. I have written a review for it under its B&B title in trip advisor but would like my review to go in for it as a restaurant. Not sure how I do it. Can you find my review and move i
Tyrella no longer does B&B at Milton Cottage which is a disappointment for all who have stayed there but the good news (and especially for locals) is that she does dinners.Think of it more of a home dining experience than a restaurant. A delicious, intimate and very inexpensive 'Dinner Party' without any of the hassle! Tyrella obviously loves cooking because her food is superb. Unusual, delicious, beautifully presented and usually home grown and locally sourced. We have been a few times and everything has been wonderful but the dishes that stand out for me were Bruscetta with home made wild garlic pesto, mozzarella and proscuitto. Plump sweet partridges on a bed of barley and green peas, warm squares of chocolate brownie with cardomen and ginger with marscapone and marmalade ice cream. The Brownies were crisp on the outside with warm gooey spiced chocolate on the inside and to die for!On arrival you get a warm welcome from Tyrella and her two terriers. You will then be offered a drink either in a glass covered terrace on warm evenings or a cosy sitting room with peat fire. The views are tremendous and the setting very peaceful. The cottage is exclusively yours for the evening and she will cater for 2 to 8 guests. The delicious 3 course meal which includes coffee and a drink is only £25.00 pp and you can take as much wine as you want to drink with you.Tyrella has only been doing this since May and only advertises by word of mouth so hurry and try it as once the secret is out I should think it will get very booked up. I really recommend anyone who is in the Perthshire area gives it a try.

Googled and chose and were delighted. Made very welcome, course quiet, greens great, interesting holes and £25 for a Saturday. Would be perfect on a sunny day (see picture ) Played like a cow but can't blame the club and still won 4 and 2. Nice lunch too. Better than more expensive/busy Pitlochry - will definitely be back - recommend it.

I ate at this part of the Dunkeld Royal Hotel on more than one occasion and each time the food and service were very good. We ate outside as we had dogs with us and they made sure that they had water. I had the fish and chips which was hot and the fish meaty and succulent, the opposite of the fish bar across the road. They have a very good selection to choose from. I would recommend eating here.

We opted for the riverside tables but waited more than 49 minutes for our food. I finally walked up to the hotel to ask about the delay but didnât receive a satisfactory answer. The food was pretty good and they did refund us some of our money but never explained what actually happened.

Public house and venue situated on the banks of the river Tay, in Highland Perthshire. The Taybank changed hands in Summer 2014 and is currently undergoing some much needed, and significant renovation work. During the renovation, the bar has been open, th
We went to eat on a Sunday evening and were the only ones in the bar. The menu is a bit limited but would probably have something for all. We chose a plate of meats and cheeses with a bottle of wine. Despite being the only ones in the bar, we had a great meal.

What a hidden gem. Best fish and chips ever. We ate in the restaurant which has a slightly different menu than the takeaway counter next door and we were pleasantly surprised in the high quality and taste of the food. Prices were a little high, but once we ate the fish and chips we knew why! Recommended!

Small family run pub run by Karen & Ewan, situated in the heart of Dunkeld, serving fresh home cooked food by our chef Denise. Good variety of food choices, we cater for all tastes including vegetarian, gluten free. Dogs always welcome with their well beh
After searching TripAdvisor for somewhere to eat The Perth Arms came highly recommended with good reviews, so we thought we'd visit for Dinner.Didn't think about booking a table, just turned up.Walked in to an old-style bar and met with friendly faces from both sides of the bar, including Taz the dog.[Presumably] the Landlady welcomed us and informed us there wasn't a table available but shouldn't be too long. Because of the reviews, we thought we'd wait so had a drink. Table became available and was quickly cleared and menus presented. The menu itself was cluttered and a bit difficult to read but the choices were good.Kids' menu had plenty to choose from too. There was a bit of a wait for the food, we were asked if the kid's meal should arrive at the same time or a bit earlier (never been given a choice before), which we thought was a nice touch to the service.Meals arrived and the wait was worth it!Everything was cooked to order and homemade (even the kids meal). As the Kids' menu included dessert we pushed ourselves to find room and have something too. Desert menu gave a small selection of homemade dishes but good sized portions. The food was great and portion sizes were excellent, all with friendly services.

The Scottish Deli consists of two high class delicatessens - one in Pitlochry and the other in Dunkeld along with a production kitchen and small holding. Our belief is that the Deli is out there⦠itâs the Mountains, the Moors, the Rivers, the Lochs, the F
Every time I come in here I am struck by the feeling of chaos. This place advertises itself as a deli, but manages to stop people browsing the deli shelves by putting tables and chairs in the way. And if youâve come in for a cup of tea or a bite to eat, you have to put up with people squeezing past you to get to the deli shelves. And if itâs busy, people queuing to buy produce to take away, get in the way of the people trying to browse the deli while squeezing past the bloke who is trying to eat his quiche! But Iâm sure itâs lovely when itâs quiet.
