Our family from Essex spent 6 fantastic days here in our motorhome. The couple that run this site and the staff are top class, if they were a football team they certainly would be Barcelona. Les was such a gent and so kind as was his wife Caroline. The animals on the farm were so friendly and there was so much to do here. The shower block was pristine clean and the little camp shop was ideal for all those essentials and bits you forget to take away with you. The tea rooms in the old country house was divine, you must treat yourself to a cream tea. The farm is near to great locations like Bridport, Lyme Regis and even the small town of Crewkerne is a great place to visit. Any problems and the owners are so willing to help. The farm is spotlessly clean and spacious with lots to look at and there is a great pub just a short walk across the field which is very friendly and does great food. Our stay at Oathill Farm was the highlight of our three week holiday in Dorset. Despite the weather not being great we still have many great memories of our stay at Oathill Farm and would definitely return.

Our 8 bedroomed 18th century coaching Inn and restaurant is open every day of the year and combines original flair with exposed steel beams, open fire, cosy nooks and crannies and pretty garden. We offer everything from great local ales, inspiring à la ca
Everything on the menu was just slightly different. The crab macaroni was delicious. Personally the portions were slightly too large, but we all had a taste of everyone so there was no waste. A bottle of Picpoul de Pinet seemed to suit everyone. Friendly young staff, and a lovely choice of puds. Canât wait to go back.

A choice of either pork or beef keeps life simple and ensures quality on each plate (small or large) every time. Many regulars are on first name terms with Gary having the ears of a lion and able to contribute, often with humour or 'low down' on what ever the topic is. Real fun! Weekday 'steak nights' and Fish and Chips on Fridays are well supported as portions are geneous. Tradional puds are huge and to die for too! Prices are very affordable.Tables are close - even cosy - but all rub along in a frendly atmosphere. The bar has some local draught brews, and extensive whisky selection, gins and rare rums. Gary is a frequent visitor to Cuba. Note: 'large' small measures.Yes, a real pub for real people. We feed people not pretty pictures on a plate. All the meal are freshly made with our homemade Pies and homecooked ham always in demand. The Sunday roast come in two sizes Large or small (the size most get at a carvery) but freshly cooked. Whatâs the use of a pub that dose not sell a choice of drinks be it local ale 3 Malt Whisky 50+ Gins over 20 or 12+ Rums.Hope to see you again soon

Elegant 17th Century Inn located in a very peaceful location in one of the most beautiful villages in the West Country. Hinton St George is set in stunning rolling, typically English countryside on the borders of Somerset, Devon & Dorset. The Lord Poulett
My husband and I decided to enjoy 3 nights in quintessential British countryside at the end of summer before moving abroad. We could not have chosen better. The Lord Poulett is idyllic. A beautiful pub in a beautiful village with charming staff and delicious food, comfortable bed and milk delivered fresh each morning so you can make a cup of tea or coffee in your room. Breakfast was superb and we literally didnât have a bad meal in 5 days (we extended!!). Hinton is also well located to explore the area. We went twice to the coast and explored dozens of local antiques shops. We both agreed we would love to return. I really canât overstate how much we enjoyed this place. Great value, too.

If you fancy a ploughmans and cider, this is the place to be! Huge plate of brie, cheddar, stilton, pate, pickled onions, tiny gerkins, salad, crisp French bread, butter and as for the cider, Thatchers haze. Ice cold. What more could you want on a sunny somerset day. Bliss. Thanks Oscars.
