Visited this pub with friends. I booked a week beforehand and when a member of our party arrived first they were told they had no record of the booking. I had also received a confirmation of the booking. Luckily they had a spare table and in the conservatory as I had requested. One of our party is gluten free and although there was a gluten free menu on the table, the meal chosen, which was a steak pie, they could not find them. When he was served his dessert there were shortbread biscuits as an accompaniment, not gluten free Most meals were satisfactory, nothing spectacular, but my gammon steak was vastly overcooking and tough. Had we not been with friends I would have complained. We had not met with these friends for a very long time and therefore had a lot of catching up to do, but we had to keep our eye on the time to keep feeding the parking meter in the car park. The parking charges are reimbursed by the pub. I don't like to leave negative comments, but obviously the kitchen and waiting staff need to be better trained with regard to special diets and allergies especially in view of the publicity surrounding this subject at the moment. I will have to think twice in future in visiting this pub as there are plenty of other establishments around Clevedon.Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry to hear your visit was not as enjoyable as it should have been, we try our best to have all menu items available but sometimes this is not possible. Please accept my apologies, bookings should never get over looked.
We offer an extensive breakfast menu, using locally-sourced meat, and lunch options ranging from light-bite to hearty.
We went to Fusion for breakfast. Firstly, we were impressed by the choice. They not only do full English breakfasts but also do healthy choices too . They have veggie options and gluten free options. The best thing about the English breakfast was how well cooked it was. It wasnât swimming in grease but looked they tried to keep the fat to a minimum. The food came fast and the staff were really helpful. Itâs the perfect place for breakfast .

With a few cafes, coffee shops situated in Clevedon centre. Poppy's cafe situated in old street, with a cafe opposite and one round the corner. Poppy's cafe is quite deceiving from the outside, doesn't look much just another cafe. Step inside and you will be pleasantly surprised, a warm friendly atmosphere greets you as you order. Areasonably priced menus are placed on the tables, with one in the window. Specials are written on a chalk board. I must admit that I have only had a drink or two here, but keep meaning to have a meal. From breakfasts to sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and cooked meals. There is something for most peoples taste.Had a meal there recently, well worth the wait. Had to walk around for a while before we got a table, it can get very busy in the cafe. So try not to leave it too late if you require food. Opening times are 08:30 - 15:00 closed on Sundays, meals are served up to 14:00.Having a meal or just meeting friends for a coffee give Poppy cafe a go and see what you think.

After a prolonged hiatus our Thursday Dining Club (TDC) foursome returned to this delightful restaurant and enjoyed a delicious dinner of Normandy Chicken for the ladies and fish pie for the men. No doubt we shall go again in the very near future and would recommend any others who appreciate good food to join the throng and do likewise.

We used to come here often back in 2017/2018 but had a couple of bad meal and havenât returned. Tonight we thought we would pop in and have a quick drink whilst waiting for a takeaway from Junior Poonâs. Shocked and stunned when they charged me £6.10 for a bottle of Butcombe!!!! Now I know they have to make a living but really £6.10!!! Now I know why the Fallen Tree down the road was packed. Ps Junior Poonâs takeaway was fabulous!!Hi Mark. I would like to point out that Butcombe is one of our Guest ales. Our Guest ales never go above £4.60. If you have a discrepancy on a bill please bring it to our attention so it can be rectified. Visited for lunch on quiet weekday. Sat outside for almost 15 minutes waiting for a menu or even an acknowledgement... the "outside waitress" wasn't busy, delivered a couple of meals and cleared a table while we waited. Then another couple arrived, sat down and were given a menu almost immediately. As I walked past her to leave she didn't even apologise or seem interested in our custom. No wonder the terrace was almost empty! £30 spent up the road instead...Absolute Fiction. We had a coffee here mid morning on Saturday, heard the chef singing and thought he must be happy in his job so decided to book a table for the evening. The waiters/waitress were very pleasant and helpful. Food was excellent, starters : Scallops(to share) main : Salmon & Fish & chips, desserts : Ice cream & crème Brulee. The suggestion of the real ale & house wines were also all excellent. Would recommend this restaurant. It's on the pier and we were lucky enough to see the most beautiful sunset, if we are in Clevedon again we would definitely go back.

A family run bistro showcasing Modern British cuisine whilst incorporating influences and cooking techniques from around the world. Fresh locally sourced food, excellent service in elegant surroundings.
To caption the evening I attended Puro with a table of 8 on a Friday evening and the restaurant wasnât very busy at all, probably in the region of half capacity. The food was alright but nothing special for the price paid and it definitely left a bit to be desired. There was a 30/40 minute wait for the starter and probably the same if not longer for the main which was a bit shocking as there were only 10/20 people dining. To wrap this up you can get a lot more for your money in Clevedon if you were to go somewhere else i.e Murrayâs or Juniors so I donât really see why youâd go here. With the above in mind I just want to clarify the lady looking after the table was great itâs just unfortunate everything else was so average.Morning Jake, I was working last night and just wanted to clear up some facts. We served 32 customers last night with the restaurant only having 1 table which was not reserved. The 30/40 minute wait is also an exaggeration because you sat, had drinks, starters and mains in 1 hour 20 minutes so I cannot see how this was possible Most of your table ordered Fresh Dorset Crab as a starter which is priced accordingly because all of our produce is fresh. Your table of 8 people spent £234.15 which we think is very reasonable considering you ordered the most expensive items? Crab £10 & Duck £19.50Last night we checked on your meal and no concerns were raised, again when the bill was paid nothing was said.If you like pizza, pasta or chinese then we are not for you.

Here we both had a nice cooked breakfast , GF bread available on request for a small charge I didnât have a problem with that as the breakfast was at a reasonable price anyway . Just a shame the lady serving hadnât been a little bit more friendly .
