This is my dad's favourite pub to eat, so I've been quite a few times for big family birthdays etc. over the last few years, and the food is consistently good. Large portions, tasty and good value. A mix of local and national ales compliment the food, eg Tring Brewery's Side Pocket - an excellent session ale. There are plenty of outside tables for when the weather allows, and a decent sized car park. The decor is nothing spectacular, just normal pub not trendy gastropub - you come here for the food and drink.

Nestled in the beautiful market town of Chesham, The Lazy Pig in the Pantry is open 7 days a week serving a seasonal menu alongside Josper oven cooked steaks, wood-fired pizzas and hearty Sunday Roasts.
Average at best. Boring food, grumpy service. Young chap at the bar was helpful and charming tho. I was exploring for Christmas party possibilities, but not up to scratch, I'm afraid.Hi ktplondon, Im sorry that your experience was not up to our usual high standard Thanks for taking the time to give us some feedback, seems on this occasion we missed the mark I would like to find out a little bit more information so that we can learn and grow from your experience. If you would like to drop us an email to [email protected] Kind RegardsJessica

Popped in for a beer and a bite to eat with a mate after work. Place was warm, friendly, good beer and had a delicious steak and kidney pie. The only thing wrong was it was empty and I couldn't understand why. Super little boozer with good unpretentious food, very welcoming and two excellent pints of TT Landlord and Tring Side Pocket. I would not hesitate to return but Chesham & Ley Hill-ites.. use it or lose would be my call.

We had walked from Amersham to Chesham, and were looking for somewhere to have lunch, being very tired and hungry. We found this delightful, small restaurant, which has lovely old beams. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the food delicious. The filter coffee and tea are replaced free of charge! We found this place accidentally, but it is a little gem and we will definitely be returning.

As a family of four weâve had the pleasure of visiting The Drawing Room on numerous occasions over the past few years and it is quite simply a sublime, hidden treasure. Richardâs (the owner) passion for new, mostly young musicians - all of whom must be singer songwriters is simply infectious. Very rarely does his selection of musicians disappoint - and the venue is so intimate both the audience and the musicians are guaranteed a very special experience. Moreover, at circa £25 per head (less for kids and you can bring your own wine if you so wish) including delicious âhome cookedâ style food and a quirky, comfy environment itâs a unbeatable combination. And if for some reason live music is not your thing you can also enjoy other evenings of readings, poetry or other ecliptic arts experiences or simply call in for a delicious breakfast or lunch! what a delightful read, thank you. I'm so glad your gang have embraced this place so warmly and authentically...bless you, see you all soon.xr

We rented in Chesham for nearly a year and visited many times, mainly for breakfast or a Saturday brunch. The Full or Veggie breakfast being a personal favourite and the fish finger sandwich being what my girlfriend ordered nearly everytime! Friendly, attentive staff, faultless food, and easy on the wallet. We always took friends there, never had a bad experience, a must try!

Your classic country pub, lovingly restored. Large beer garden to the rear, traditional nook with fireplace inside. Originally built in the 18th c so beware the low beams ! The pub is open 12pm to 11pm Tuesday to Saturday, Sunday 12 till 10.30pm cask ales
Nothing pretentious about the pub, run by a lovely couple, kept like a proper pub. Good honest food, good honest drinks and welcoming to all. Family friendly, kids welcome, large garden with play toys for children. Don't be expecting 5 star cuisine, its honest and hearty

Second visit. Fine dining. The best tortellini and pork tenderloin I have had in a while. Jazz in the background polite service and delicious food including a sorbet with a hidden ingredient. Do pay them a visit.

We had a great value Travelzoo voucher for 2 courses and a glass of fizz. The setting is idyllic, the young staff are lovely and very efficient and the food is fabulous. As we walked in I saw the Thai menu and assumed it was only available on certain nights, so was very pleased to be given this menu as well as the standard one as it was included in the deal. The curry was very pleasingly hot (maybe too much for some people but perfect for me!). A great place, and I hope to return.
