So we walked in this establishment having been recommended to visit. The place was empty and it quickly became apparent why.The landlord decided to tell his business plan which was to rely on locals who weren't turning up and that he was not interested in tourists ..... we were the inconvenience. He was definitely not the host with the most and created a miserable atmosphere. One drink and we were gone.Well good luck to you sir. If you continue with that attitude I fear that Whisjey Joe's will be no more.

We just stopped by yesterday night at the Corner House in Ozankoy and the place will actually open officially tonight (15.04.17).New menu simple and friendly: pizzas and salads and burgers! We tried everything and everything was good...Nigel is the manager: a young man full of energy and positive about life!Surely a place where to go once you are tired of the usual Cypriot cousine (and if you live here sometime you have enough of Meze and Kebabs) hopefully they will do OK as this restaurant is changing so often hand that you loose track!

The staff obviously know quite a few people who frequent this establishment, and made it quite obvious who they were. My money is as good as the next customer, so the unfriendliness shown towards us wasnât pleasant. What disturbed me more was that the majority of the male staff took a unhealthy interest in a group of (underage) teenagers - male and female that were there. Service wasnât great, again the select tables were served without a nod of the head or a wave of the hand. Select tables were also given complimentary snacks. We werenât, even though we spent a considerable amount of money there. I would not go to this bar again. Ever.
An old Cypriot olive mill that has been converted into a beautiful bar and restaurant in the village of Ozankoy. Under new management with a British couple Sandra and Eddie have turned this place into a bright and wonderful place to have a beer or an evei
Traditional pub in a traditional building serving ice cold beers with a smile, what more could you ask for!Went to watch some of the World Cup games with friends and we had a great time. Sandra, her son Dan and the staff made you feel very welcome. Nice and cool inside if you want to escape the heat or a courtyard and roof terrace if you prefer outdoors.Ham, egg and chips before the England game was spot on and other food I saw looked just as good.As a pub in the sun should be!
