Good home made meals served daily . Sunday roast booking being taken now .
Jill & Ashley are such a lovely, friendly couple this also shows in the upkeep of the pub and accommodation. The accomedation was really clean and beds were comfortable. They've thought about every fine detail and added some lovely personalble touches from a little mug in bedroom for our daughter, teddys on her bed, toiletries and welcoming messages. We didn't have a small child but the room was fully equipped with a travel cot, bouncer & wipes. The pub is a truly a family friendly they've got a fantastic relationship with the locals. It was nice being able to have a drink whilst our daughter coloured with the locals making conversation. We felt really comfortable, safe and enjoyed evenings having a drink making conversation. The food was lovely and Gill accommodated for our needs, loved the lush fresh breakfast. Definite recommend the Kings Arms, please say hello from the Mistry's when you go.Our daughter wanted a really big thank you for her Easter Egg such a lovely touch. We'll definitely be back xxIt was a pleasure, you have such a lovely family.Hope to see you again soon.

Driving to Cornwall we need to stop somewhere for a meal and a little shopping. Well this place does it all .Although it was nearly lunchtime we decided to have a full English breakfast.Very nice indeed and a good price also, our waitress was full of smiles and attentive Siobhan was brilliant 10/10 for her.We then went to the farm shop for some bits and pieces and a few treats. Lovely selection of foods and local too.So well worth stopping off .Dear firemanfield822,Thank you for your kind review and I am so pleased you enjoyed your recent visit to both the restaurant and farm shop.We hope to see you again when you are next in the area.Kind regardLaura MounceManager and family member

Had the five course taster menu on the first night as part of a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. Absolutely first class - every course had a lovely twist to it, and there is obviously a commitment to using the best ingredients. Every one of us returned sparkling clean plates to the kitchen - clear demonstration that the food was enjoyed. Having seen the menu and specials board we decided to eat in the hotel again on our second night - something we ordinarily would never do in an attempt to try different places. So glad we did - again, a menu with plenty of variety from the more traditional to the more adventurous - never seen Bobotee (South African cottage pie) on a menu before - and everything stunning. The chef clearly uses the best ingredients and then caters for a wide range of tastes. One of our best meals of all time. Have to mention the really friendly staff too - they were rushed off their feet both nights (a packed restaurant and bar on a midweek - a very good sign), but always were friendly, chatty and clearly happy in their job. First class. Hello Thank you for writing such a lovely review! I will certainly pop this one on our notice board for all the staff to see. the month has continued to be mad busy... looking forward to September now.... Many thanks againRobert purveyor of a fine Bobotee it seems!

A friendly village pub serving local ales, ciders and lager. An extensive menu including steaks, homemade curries and pies. Bookings are highly recommended
Have eaten here many times, and the food is always of the highest quality. Chris and Gail are very welcoming hosts, and all their staff are equally as good. Anything you choose from the menu is made on site, using very high quality local ingredients. They have a good selection of beers, lagers, and numerous gins. Reasonable prices, good food, and excellent service, well worth a visit.Thank you for your great review and your positive comments are really appreciated. We always aim to serve great quality food using where possible locally sourced ingredients. We are a small team and comments as those provided in your review are great for moral. We look forward to welcoming you back soon

The Molesworth Arms re-open for business in Dec 2015 after been shut up for 2 years! Our simple aim & ethos was to run a friendly pub that consistently serves good food, local ales/ciders, quality wines in a comfortable & relaxing environment. We build cl
Limited opening hours means that you really need to check beforehand and book to avoid disappointment. Welcoming hosts and attentive staff. Excellent local ales on tap and wines to suit most palettes. Perfectly cooked duck breast with a hint of Far East fusion, blackberry and apple - yummy. My sea bass was the best I've ever had - fresh, tasty and succulent. Lemon posset that I was VERY reluctant to share. Good value for quality local produce. This out of the way treasure is worth seeking out.

We had a supurb meal here on Sunday night. Very impressed with quality of food and thought it was excellent value for money. Good honest delicious food - not posh (or trying to be) just great pub grub. Happily go back and try other stuff off the large menu.

I took my partner her for her birthday dinner, and we were not disappointed. Admittedly it is not cheap however it is well worth the expense in every way. The food is of course cooked to perfection and presented beautifully . Tony and Tina are wonderful hosts, the whole experience is one of pure indulgence, unhurried , relaxing and your taste buds will thank you as well. We will be returning soon. Thanks very much for the review. We are delighted that your partner enjoyed her birthday dinner and that you both had an good evening. Hope to see you both again. Kind regards, Tina & Tony.

We have now re-opened this quaint, destination Restaurant / Pub after a few months of gruelling refurbishment. We have returned the main sections of the inside into two cosy, comfortable, well heated dining areas in which we will be offering a regularly c
Called in for the first time last night and wasn't disappointed. We both had steak which was cooked to perfection. Lovely home cut chips and onion rings. Desserts were also very good with large portions. I can recommend the BlackBerry and apple crumble and custard.. The staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble to make our meal out perfect. Booking essential I think as they seem to get busy.

First visit and we were very pleased to find somewhere open for lunch. The food was very good with large portions. Unfortunately we left feeling that unless you were a local, you were not greeted very well and it was hard to engage the lady serving. Whilst we do not live in the village we do live nearby. Will think twice before visiting again.
