Our second night in Brunico we looked for this restaurant, a little outside the ancient historic center. It was quite busy, but it also features wide spaces, so we were seated easily. At the entrance the visitor understands the reason for the name: the restaurant is annexed to a brewery, which can also be partly seen through a hole in the floor. Some prizes obtained in the past from the brewery are also exhibited inside. We ordered two soups and two main dishes. The two soups were delicious, made with the so-called "gray cheese" (translation from the German of "Graukäse" which designates an traditiona cheese, typical of the nearby Valle Aurina / Ahrntal) and canederli with herbs.Less unusual, but equally delicious, were the main dishes: grilled veal with green beans and potato fritters (similar to the Swiss "rösti"); deer "saddle" with sauerkraut, and again with potato fritters. As drinks, a liter of mineral water, a glass of Lagrein wine and an excellent house beer. The price was 77.30 euros for two people: not excessive in relation to the quality of food, but not even low.

Artisan Burgers, American BBQ, Dry Aged Steaks... original and authentic. Everything made in house and cooked the old school way... with smoke and fire. Riverside-Gastropub is now also the home of Finix Brewing Co. our in house brewery.
This chef-owned restaurant located on the bike path along the river has a fun vibe with quality "made from scratch" food. The Wagyu beef, sourced locally, and grilled to perfection, gives these burgers an unbeatable flavor. From the freshly baked bun to the wide array of add-ons (or toppings), there is a burger to suit everyone's desire. The "create your own" signature hamburger will not disappoint whether you choose the Wagyu or other high quality locally sourced beef. Sip on a craft beer from the extensive international list or regional wine while your dinner is prepared. Service is friendly with a cheerful ambience.

The FORST brewery was founded in 1857. A few years later, Josef Fuchs, the founding father of the beer dynasty, took over the business in the area where the plant can still be found today. Even in those early days, he was able to see that it was a perfect
We had the misfortune of choosing this establishment to dine in. First impressions, ok, clean. The waitress was great, even translating & recommending items from the menu. We ordered our dinner & drinks, 8.35pm. Drinks arrived & we were settling in for an enjoyable dining experience. Not going to happen, our waitress had the difficult job of advising us that the chef/cook was not going to cook our dinner & he was finished. Avoid this restaurant & the lazy, unobliging and cowardly chef. There are way better restaurants in Brunico. Hats of to our waitress.
