El Fuego steak house in Porto Alegre, Brazil, continues in its good shape. Staff is friendly and fast in bringing the cover and taking your order for drinks. Location is convenient at the Shopping "Moinhos", with easy parking. They continue having a system where they grilled different options of meat continuously in a barbecue fire in a room besides the main eating area. A buffet of salads and side dishes are in the same area. You can take a plate, serve your salad and other side dishes and ask for your favourite cut of meat. I recommend the most traditional Brazilian cut named "picanha", but in El Fuego they also have the delicious "costela" and "vazio" prepared in a typical gaucho style. From the BBQ fire they also serve melted provolone cheese and fried polenta. Not to be missed. All in all, its a very nice experience, specially if you are a meat lover.

Very good lunch after business meeting with a very good menu of meat ! Several variations and pretty well prepared. It cost 110 R$ per head, it is a different churrascaria type and very nice environment

First, it is a very simple restaurant with very simple decor. You cannot see the grill from the seating area as in some restaurants. They do not accept credit cards, so bring cash. Restaurante Princesa Isabel is not a typical tourist destination--in fact, everyone else I saw during my hour-long gorge-fest were obviously locals--so don't expect any English. After you indicate what you want--just the meat or the price including a set with sides and/or drinks--they bring the meat and sides to you, so you don't have to do anything else except say "si" or "nao" (or nod or shake your head if your mouth is full) when another plate of food comes out. You are not coming for the decoration or comfortable chairs anyway, so enjoy the meat!It is not the best meal at a restaurant I have ever had in my life, but of the churrascarias (grill restaurants) I went to during my stay in Brazil, this one was by far the best value (Rio churrascarias were overpriced!) and left me with satisfied with a full stomach and feeling sort of like a local.

The restaurant is very simple, unpretentious, but very nice. Easy to park, at least at night. The beer was very cold, they serve you different kinds of salad (simple ones) but the potato salad, without eggs was very good. The meat is difficult to say which was the best - cattle rib, pork or lamb ribs. Pork was served in two different ways, both also very goods. It was worth eating there. I recomend.

There is literally nothing bad to say about this fabulous place. The pictures tell the story, this is truly the finest atmosphere in Porto Alegre to have a relaxing lunch in a beautiful semi enclosed open and airy space looking directly on Ipanema Beach and the River. Magical. The food is excellent and they even have a very good microbrewery on site featuring excellent beer. Homemade traditional deserts to die for. As good as the beautiful space and fine food are, it is the warmth of the family and the friendliness of the wait staff that shines the most and will keep me returning to my favorite lunch spot in Porto Alegre. The waiter even did magic tricks for the children and spoke English with me. The owner and his mother felt like friends by the end of my stay.Honestly, for a romantic meal or a lunch with the whole family, there is no better restaurant I would rather spend an afternoon in Porto Alegre. Thanks Chris, for the great rating.

One of the best place I have tried in Porto Alegre - not just because of the healthy stamp, but because the food is truly tasty! Well prepared and despite not being a vegetarian or raw food fan, I did not at all miss meat for a good meal here. Great salads for lunch so came back for dinner - not disappointed! Try the fermented cheesecake - itâs one of the best cheesecakes I have tried ! The burger next table looked great too. Will definitely come back to try more. The juices are fresh made in the back, and you can go check it out. Definitely a go to place when you get tired of picanha meat and fries/rice. So happy to read this amazing review! It feels great to know that we are doing it right <3 hope to see you again here soon!

The Coco Bambu is one of the best addresses in Porto Alegre to enjoy a very good fish or seafood dinner. The service staff is friendly and very diligent. After the obligatory Caipirinha cocktail made with Cachaca Coco Bambu, I had as first starter the Couvert Especial (marinated shrimps, sun-dried tomatoes with freshly seasoned minas cheese, grilled tomatoes with fried garlic, and eggplant, salmon ceviche and cheese breads). It comes with seasoned garlic toast. The second appetizer was a very delicious Costelinha de Tambaqui (crispy tambaqui ribs). The main dish was an excellent prepared Sirigado ao Forno (Roasted Sirigado fillet with bell peppers, tomato, onion, carrot, potato, baked garlic and parsley). Side dish was rice, farofa and banana. The Patagonia Amber Lager craft beer and also the 2017 DâAlamel by Lapostolle Sauvignon Blanc white wine from Chile were very quaffable and good companions to the dishes. An Espresso combined with a Grappa was a good completion of the nice dinner. To have fish and seafood specialties at the Coco Bambu is a good choice and worth to come again.Ficamos felizes com sua satisfação com nossas entradas, bebidas, pratos e nosso atendimento. Estamos trabalhando diariamente para lhe atender com qualidade. Aguardamos sua volta e agradecemos por nos avaliar. Obrigado

The only organic food restaurant in Porto Alegre. The Bistrô do Solar is located in a historic house dating fromthe year 1790. The mansion is preserved. In Bistrô the healthy and tasty food.
I am celiac so I cannot eat gluten, their special for Tuesdays was a breaded fish (breaded in corn and rice flour) with rice and veggies (I asked them for fries instead or rice and they were happy to change it for me) the whole dish was great and not expensive at all! My husband got the soups buffet and all the 3 soups were very good. They have a big selections of a sweet buffet but we did not eat from there.Thank you for your rating. Come and visit us more often!
