Lençois doesn't offer that many good quality restaurants, but it does offer an exotic taste of rural backland food as a counterpoint to all pasta and pizza serving backpackers! The O Bode (the Goat) is a great example: simple setting, food by the pound, and atmosphere. They displayed buffet cover sun dried meat, variety of beans, salad, beaf stews, and above all goat stew. I would recommend to concentrate on the goat stews, the best I've had since my visit to Jamaica! Add salad and local green beens! This was my best meal in Chapada Diamantina. Go for it!

Arriving in the restaurant, it feels empty and bare but once the food is served we were astonished by its quality and freshness. The prices are incredible, cheaper would be criminal. The pumpkin risotto with steak was excellent, as was the vegetarian dish. We returned two days later for lunch with the same positive impression.Only point to improve however, red wine should never be chilled in the fridge!!

We went three times to Bodega in four days. Even though we searched for other places to go, Bodega always had a nice crew around with good music. The pizza is delicious and the beer is always cold. The staff is really kind and we loved it.

An ethnic restaurant located in the city of Lencois Chapada Diamantina - BA. Here we mix contemporary cuisine with local flavors offering a slowfood service within a charming and cozy environment.
We found this based on a recommendation. As soon as you go in you see the chef preparing the home made ravioli. It is truly fantastic. We had the tomato and coconut soup followed by the goulash. Both courses were perfect and we walked away feeling well fed and content. It is also very affordable. I think weâll struggle to find anywhere as good in lencois!!

We had a very nice dining experience at Restaurante Quilobola. We ordered a moqueqa with fish and shrimp that was heavenly. Went wonderfully with cold beer and the live music right next to us. Service was also attentive and good.Recommend this as one the places to eat while in Lençois, particularly for the their moqueqa which no one should leave Bahia without tasting.

To be fair, we didn't have a bad dinner anywhere in Lençois- but this was the one we came back to. The food and the service were just *that* bit better, and the food ranged from very good to great. The moqueca was particularly good (and after a thorough test of all their capirinhas, we can say that they were all excellent).Be aware that- at least in the (Brazilian) winter, many of the restaurants in town are not open every night (they seem to trade off).Hey Kate,we're really glad for such amazing comment. We're always trying to do our best, and your satisfaction is the most important reward.Thank you very much for choose us!Best regards,

Boa gastronomia em Lençóis com opções de massas artesanais, crepes franceses do jeito que brasileiro gosta, cafés especiais da Chapada para finalizar o seu jantar e lhe proporcionar uma experiência única em Lençóis.
Stoped here for a desert, tried the chocolate with milk crepe. One of the best we've had. The crepe is thin and prepared with perfection. The chocolate is amazing, from the taste it was dark chocolate. The only thing that bothers me it's the price. It's the most expensive crepe we've had in Brazil....

Great food and a good price. The waitress was really pleasant and friendly and happy. The medium beef was not really medium but the food tasted great and I refused the offer to have it replaced. We would have visited a second time but we didnât had enough time.
