Find out what Brazilian restaurants to try in Jericoacoara. If you want to step off a plane and be at a mega resort 15 minutes later, Jericoacoara probably isn’t for you. But if you want an unspoiled beach town, and don’t mind bouncing along rough dirt roads for an hour to get there, you might just think it’s paradise. Kitesurfing, windsurfing, Capoeira, and, of course, just lying on the beach are popular activities.

I'm not a very fussy person and I just write bad reviews if I really think is deserved... So, I had a lovely aubergine sandwich... It was amazing... Never had anything like it before... 5 stars for the food! The only reason I'm not giving 5 points for the place is because of this horrible lady (think is Monica her name) she was sooo rude with my friend... Very impolite... I felt like telling her what she deserved to hear but kept my mouth shut to avoid embarrassing her... How rude... I really don't understand how people like this lady get to work with the public... The owner should review the staff... Or give her a good manners training. Shame on her.

While our vacation was great we were sure that Tamarindo will be just one more great place to have dinner.Well there is nothing realy wrong here but there was nothing great there as well.It was just an ordinary dinner which cost more than what we got.Like memtioned there is nothing wrong there just don't expect anything special. If you are allready here and just now reading my review i hope you will like it better .Have fun.

We came to Jeri during the week in the low season, so not many restaurants were open. Trusty EA was though, so we ended up eating there quite often. Good solid option, we loved the chicken milenesa, big portions with lots of sides. Cheap and tasty!

Restô de charme. Massas, Risotos, Grelhados e frutos do mar. Grupo Bistrogonoff, desde 2006 na Praia de Jeri.
This is a fun little place tucked away on a side street. Clearly their specialty is the omnipresent Brazilian stroganoff. I say Brazilian bc every Brazilian child's fav food seems to be this, and who can blame them! Creamy sauce, with I kid you not, ketchup and Worcestershire, served w white rice and yummy shoestring potatoes. I wouldn't say this is the best my Brazilian kiddos have had but it's a nice break from fish. The service was extremely friendly and again the place was adorable!

Only good things to say about Roma; friendly and attentive service, excellent food (assuming you have a starter, pizzas can serve two unless you are starving), and the drinks were strong! The kitchen worked efficiently and we were in and out in about an hour and ten minutes.

While we spend our vacation at Jericoacoara - Fortaleza - our hotel (Vila Kalango) also advice ourselves to visit Bistrô Caiçara at the Main Street. Forget the appetizers and go to the main course and order the shrimp with pineapple. It was outstanding. They have also excellent sea food! Service team are amazing as well. Excellent option for dinner at Jericoacoara!

A small restaurant with a lot of things that make it special.Anderson and his wife created the temple of crepioca/tapioca, it is by far the best in jeriquaroquara. I went there more than once, I was keen to show the place to my friends..and I always been positively surprised.I went to jeriquaroquara without any plans and Anderson helped me to organise the tour for the next couple of days.Crepioca, I'll miss you!!!!

Aberto
Stopped off here for a bite to eat for lunch. It was fine not much to write home about. The mushrooms were clearly out of a tin and still soaked in brine. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Casa b & b is set in a stunning location - the lagoa do paraÃso is just beautiful and somewhere to definitely visit and if possible to stay for a night or 2. I'm reluctant to recommend the b & b though purely based on my personal experiences. I was hosted in what they call the oca - a igloo like structure set away from the lagoon. It's beautifully designed - the kind of place that would feature in a house and garden magazine - unfortunately for me, there wasn't enough light. There is only one window that doesn't let much sunlight in, so I relied on internal lamps during the day. It's a shame that the beautiful sunlight of the location doesn't figure more in the design. Additionally there's no outside space for the structure. Other places I stayed had their own hammocks and terraces to chill out in the evenings - and dry swimsuits. The only places here with hammocks to chill are in the main dining area and close to people eating which is uncomfortable. That said the building and people are lovely and the food great - a plus that they prepare sushi and sashimi with locally caught fish and seafood (although bizarrely they use frozen sliced bread for breakfast). Would only recommend this place if staying in rooms in the main building which has outside space and windows. The quarto do vidro especially! Dear Maria TeresaI am sorry that you choose the "wrong" suite for you. But it was your choice. We didn´t ask you to stay in the Oca. We have 4 diferents style of rooms and all are same price: suÃtes with veranda and hammock and lake view, glass room with lake view, oca and suÃte with veranda to backyard. Each one has pictures in the site. The guests choose what is best for them.At that period we had available: oca, suÃtes with veranda, hammock and lake viewsuÃte 3 with veranda with view to backyard.About the bread: We do not use frozen bread for breakfast. We use the best fresh bread that we can get around here. There are no bakery with several types of bread in Jijoca as you have in many cities. You didn´t want to eat the fresh bread that was in the breakfast and just FOR COURTESY we offer the baguette that I bought â FOR ME NOT FOR THE GUESTS - in Rio de Janeiro and of course I kept it frozen. IT WAS JUST A COURTESY as you didnât like the fresh one. I am sorry again to try to do our best.I hope you come next time and I am sure that everything goes better.
