Bistro Ohana sounds French-Hawaiian... The burger in the pictures gives the impression it is some simple burger joint... but nothing could be more surprising : It a superb italian restaurant!Had the ravioli with seabass. It was incredible! Also the veal-cheek was super. So don't judge a book by its cover...or a resto by its name : go and have a great meal here!Ow yeah : the chef (as I was told) is Hawaiian... so half of the name explained :-).Thank you so much for your review! We are so happy you enjoyed your meal @ our bistro.

Even thinking about the San Daniele ham tapa still blows me away. The other dishes were excellent and surprising too. Superb service as well. They just started less than a year ago. Wouldn't be surprised to see them earn stars in the future.

Busy Sunday evening but we were accommodated immediately without a prior booking. Helpful waitress translated menu for us. Excellent food at an average price for this area. Will certainly call again when in the area.

The restaurant is conveniently located by the national road and close to Maastricht. The ambiance is very good and the owner is serving himself with great enthusiasm and a big smile. The food was, overall, good. Especially the sweet bread and the goose liver. The vegetarian dishes are a bit disappointing. But the wine was very good. Overall a good experience.

It took 25 minutes after having announced ourself inside to have someone take our order. The drinks then arrived another 20 minutes later. Another 20 minutes later we got the bill for the drinks, with the announcement "we are too busy to bring your cheese platter". No apology whatsoever. Clearly this place gets enough business from passing tourist to not have to bother about professionalism. It is always a bad idea to understaff. I can only recommend you to avoid this address, as this may give them more time to actually serve their tourist visitors while preventing you grom having to experience our disappointment.

This small family run Italian Wine Bar also offers the possibility for cozy dining with a limited menu of dishes with daily fresh products. Dishes were prepared with great care and eye for detail and were very tasty. Dishes varied between traditional dishes such as Carpaccio, Sole to typical products from Limburg such as 'Bloedworst', to more sophisticated dishes such as 'Coquilles with hete bliksem' and 'Tournedos Rossini' with goose liver. The wine suggestions fit the dishes perfectly, mainly Italian with a choice of sometimes changing assortment of for example Alsace, Greek wines as well. Service was very attentive. Definitely recommendable. Hospitality is spelled with a capital 'H' in Bellavino.

Had a mixed grill. 1 piece of chicken. 1 small piece of Steak and something else (i forgot) 21,50 euro. I think that too expensive for 3 small pieces of meat. Chicken was dry. nothing really special overall. No real flavors. even a little Salt or pepper would have done a miracle. I can make this at home too. for 10% of the price. Maybe it was my mistake, because if you want a steak just go to a steak house. This was (one of) the most expensive dishes on the menu, other dishes were cheaper so maybe I took the wrong one.Service was good, friendly. I think with a group it's a good place to go. but I don't think I will come back again. Simply because of the fact for this price I can get better food elsewhere. And what other people said too. It can be very noisy when it's crowded.

We had not reserved we simply walked in and asked if they could accommodate us, they gave us a choice of tables so we sat beside the window facing the main road. The waiters were friendly pleasant and chatty they took our drink order and then returned for the food order, we were unsure of which wine to order and the waiter gave us a selection to try and so we choose the one we liked. We both ordered the steak and I have to say they were cooked to perfection and the presentation was excellent. The Lido has had a face life and the place looks much better, less clutter and much more appealing and relaxing, very enjoyable.
Where to eat European food in Rekem: The Best Restaurants and Bars

My partner and I, with friends, have now eaten at Magnific twice; we live close by and are very pleased to have this excellent new choice in our neighborhood. Firstly, and most importantly, the food is very good: nice presentation, good quality and very well prepared. The décor is lovely: very current with a sharp bar and two stylish dining areas. And, the service is very good and attentive; just consider that eating at Magnific is an evening long affair and you will enjoy it. Alain, the owner, ensures that his guests are comfortable and looked after; he is a well known character (meant in the best possible way) as he has been in the bar and restaurant business in the area for many years and is a very personable host. His new restaurant is off to a very good start and we look forward to returning very soon. Our only suggestion: the menu card is a bit short, more choices would be appreciated especially for clients who visit on a regular basis.

Nothing is due to chance The gourmet Restaurant La Source holds two Michelin stars and a Gault&Millau score of 17 out of 20 points, and is one of Belgiumâs 40 best restaurants. Chef Ralf Berendsen serves the finest haute cuisine creations to prove that op
This is one of the occasions that one regrets having spoiled the 5 stars quotation on others. This is definitely 6 stars level. The 2 Michelin stars awarded just recently to this restaurant don't give this restaurant what they deserve : the highest level !We had a tasting menu with excellently balanced dishes and delicious combinations of delicate tastes and high quality products. I can't remember I ever had a complete menu without one dissonant. La source really made it to the top 3 of my restaurant experiences, if not thé top.We started with several little amuse-bouche. Each and every one of them was a delight. Taste, structure, combination ... everything was perfect. One of them was some cheese combination in the form of an olive. Beautifully presented and with a superb taste. See gthe pictures for the other ones. The next was hamachi and goose liver. Excellent, wow, ... Then we had haddock with oyster, passion fruit and chives. Wow again ! The main course was Dombes Duck with Mole, red beetroot and cherry raisin. What can I say - a masterpiece. The dessert was Jerusalem artichoke with pear, chocolate and sorrel. Can I have another one please ...For the sweets with the coffee, a waiter is passing by with a cart full of deliciously looking (and tasting !) delights of all kinds. One really is tempted to say : a bit of everything please..With the risk of repeating myself over and over again. This is one of the best places I've ever been. It can't be said enough. Great food, great service, great place. Thanks for the exceptional experience.
