Far from the touristsâ traps that flourish in the historical city center, you will find here a lovely bistrot nested in a mid-19th century house which success at offering a typical brasserie menu using the best local ingredients and which demonstrates that it is possible to have a great meal in Liège without being on a company account.Thierry Maree is a real pro leading a young smiling and highly effective crew Book ahead since all the locals know the. place for 25 years !

What is/was good, you have to repeat it. So back in 2013 to Chez Philippe for a budget friendly dinner.Service is still good, menu is still basic, no changes I would say.Typical "boulettes" are still famous, but choice of scampis or filet americain is also to get recommended.Basic, no big waw, but you get what you want and probably expect from this restaurant.

The portions were huge, we were full fed up later.. We tried the regional dishes, queens bite and meatballs. Both of them were delicious. The staff was friendly. It is a good choice if you want to taste traditional cuisine. The toilets could be cleaner...

This restaurant has an excellent central terrace and location. Right in the tourist area, meaning their drinks' prices are beyond average. They serve a decent diversity of drinks but the choice of food is limited. Not bad and certainly good quality, but actually not surprising or high quality or made with dedication.Service is okay; not too slow or too hasty. Waiters have sufficent language knowledge and act quick and decent. But is not an extraordinary service or food. It is the location that matters and the scene is a bit more decent than some other bars around. A good place for a decent meal, but nothing to boast about or ask friends or family to join

An amazing place in Liège (Belgium) to eat meat. It's not only a restaurant but it's also a butchery (famous since 1873). All menus are on iPad, it's an amazing way to learn about products you will eat. Friendly waiters, beautiful place and amazing meat q
Maison Leblanc is the absolute heaven for meat lovers. Start your evening with a nice dring with a fabulous âplanche de charcuterieâ and then choose one of the splendid pieces of meat, from dry-aged to Wagyu. Service is friendly and efficient. You can better reserve your table, because this a hotspot!Dear JoeriMaesHello and thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on TripAdvisor. We are really glad you had a good time in our restaurant.Your advice and recommendations will certainly be good advice to future travelers and have made great pleasure to the team.Yours truly,

If you like toasts and you are tired of the common recipes, that is a nice place to taste some different ones. Cute interior but not ideal for long visits. We chose the menu: a drink, a small salad, a soup and a toast and the price was reasonable (perhaps the soup got a bit cold as we were waiting for the toasts to be prepared).

I had lunch with my son. We had shrimp croquets for starters, very good! And meatballs with chips for mains. These meatballs with sauce, a speciality in Liege, were absolutely fantastic.I can recommend this restaurant. It would be wise to make a reservation, I phoned an hour before and got the last table.
