Stopped here for lunch after snorkeling at Electric Beach while driving up to Makaha. Not bad! Generous portions but the macaroni in the mac salad was overlooked & kind of mushy. I had the BBQ chicken plate lunch & chicken was tasty yet had a bit of fat & skin still on it. The only hot sauce they had was Tabasco, no Sriracha, which kind of sucked.

We were staying in beach cabins nearby and wanted a close, quick meal. L&L did the trick. The food was good, the prices right, and the servings were generous enough. There is dining on site but we took it all to go.I sort of had the feeling the clerk was not used to seeing tourists. She was polite in every respect but you had a distinct feeling this eatery was "for the locals."

Their customer service and the workers always yelling Chinese back and forth is really rude/poor service, but the food is actually very good. We've been there two times now; Easter Sunday when it was super busy and most of the prepared food for the combo plate lunches was already gone, then again last weekend.Even on the busy Easter day what we did order (Kung pao chicken and BBQ chicken) were both pretty good. Last weekend we had black pepper chicken and a combo of noodles with broccoli beef and beef with string beans. Both were really good although the chicken was a bit sweet. Both portions were ginormous -- easily enough for two people.So far, and we've tried a lot of Chinese, this is the best Chinese on O'ahu we've found. And we live in Chinatown, so yeah, we've tried a lot of different places.Another great eating place in Waianae!

We enjoyed the food very much, Hawaiian BBQ and burgers were great. They offer breakfast too. Best is to get the food to go and go somewhere around the area to eat it, there are great beaches and parks just blocks away from the restaurant. We ate once there and the atmosphere was not very good.
