We love good barbeque as much as anyone. Unfortunately, upon trying this establishment were extremely disappointed. It's a quaint place that appeared to have a lot of promise. We both had combination turkey and brisket platters, along with a couple of side items and appetizers. The appetizers and side items were as one would expect, and have no complaints. The meat had absolutely no smoke flavor and appeared to be oven prepared, not cooked in a smoker. The brisket had a lot of fat and should have been better trimmed before serving.

This is a nice locally owned and operated restaurant. Almost all the food is made at the restaurant. The ribs and sauce were pretty good, the potato salad and coleslaw were nothing special. The waitress was awesome and made the experience here worth the meal.

Stopped in on a Saturday to check out the newest bbq joint in town. Good location on Highway 61 South. The open sign is hard to see. Very high up in a window. Donât be fooled if you donât see any cars. Limited menu. Just ribs, brisket and pulled pork. But very good. The sides were good too. Donât expect fancy. The food is served in takeout boxes. Well worth the stop.
