This is a self serve, casual restaurant. I had the smoked chicken, my friends had pulled pork and turkey. The meats are wonderful. The sides are a little different, but I enjoyed the âmarinated slawâ ok - itâs more like pickled cabbage but I donât like sweet slaw so I was ok. They were out of the veggie if the day so I had the potato salad. It was ok. Iâm not a fan of the sweeter cornbread they serve with their meals, but I would definitely go back for the BBQ meats.

Went there on Saturday for dinner. The restaurant was pretty crowded, however we were able to be seated almost immediately. As soon as you order a plate, you get free access to the salad bar -unlimited refilling- which is really a gem! Extremely fresh, fully packed, big variety. I ordered a plate that had a bit of everything, brisket, ribs and pulled pork. All were tender and nicely made. Very tasty plate! I would highly recommend this restaurant to meat lovers!

Walking through the various bars and restaurants of the Cotton District, caught the smell of delicious BBQ. Followed that smell to the Two Brothers.Lot of interesting choices on serving the available smoked meats, including duck.I selected the Pork and Pepper tacos, which were large soft tortillas stuffed full of pulled pork and colorful peppers. As beautiful as they were, they tasted better. I also selected their potato salad as a side, which was of the twice baked variety. Perfect pairing and with an accompanying bottled craft beer.Service and prices were also a positive. Will definitely come back on next visit to Starkville.

I have eaten here twice, both take out. Both times I was extremely pleased with the quality and taste of the rib tips and brisket. Wow, just fantastic. I would take an educated guess that the barbeque receives its outstanding quality and flavor just from how the owners smoke the meat. They do provide a sauce on the side which is quite good but not needed. The smokers are located outside the front door and are smoking from early morning throughout the day. Man, what a sight, smell, and taste. The rib tips are the best I have had. The brisket was perfectly smoked. I used the brisket on nachos and those eating them just raved how good the meat made the nachos. They also have quality beans and a nice mix of smoked potatoes and other veggies. You must try this place. You will go back I promise. You can eat there as well. There are a couple of tables and booths. They have several other items and drinks. Be sure to look for the smokers since the restaurant is in a small building that is connected to a hair salon. This place rocks. ENJOY.
