It's one of those places off the usual path, but obviously the locals know the place and if the restaurant does not do an excellent job of the food and ambiance then he will not have many people over. We went there to celebrate our many years of marriage. The food was just as we wished it was and the ambiance did its part as well. We gad a wonderful evening and I do plan to go back to the place with friends. If you are around that area, stop over and enjoy it.

Ovviamente ci siamo fermati a pranzare dopo essere stati ai giardini di Ninfa. Diciamo che fa il suo. Menù veramente standard, senza piatti del giorno e senza spaziare molto. Ma tutto sommato la qualità è buona quindi si esce soddisfatti.

Glio Montano is just a short walk away from the main square in Privernos Centro Storico. We (my girlfriend, mother, brother and brothers girlfriend) we're the first to arrive on the scene, and were greeted by the cheerful staff. We dined there during Notte Bianca, and a special menu was in place for this event. We first received a (large) number of appetizers, including, but not limited to- mozzarella di buffala / caprese, pecorino-cheese, melanzana with a tomato sauce and melted cheese, polenta, prosciutto & melone and bresaola on rughetta. After devouring all the appetizers, most of which were very good, we commented that we almost felt full already. And the actual meal had barely begun!We were then served a gnocchi dish, which was very solid, but we had to ask them not to be too generous with the servings so we could have space for the rest of the meal. The secondo piatto was seared steak on salad. The meat was very tasty, though I did miss the balsamico reduction that the restaurant usually serves alongside this dish. Finally we were treated to a (thankfully small) delicious panna cotta with fresh berries. We asked the staff to recommend both a white and red wine, and both were excellent. The staff was courteous and friendly throughout. The price for this massive meal was very reasonable. All in all we had a great experience at Glio Montano, and will certainly return there next time we are in Priverno. I've dined at Glio Montano on a number of occasions, and I've yet to be disappointed. Highly recommended!

Sermoneta is a small lovely medioeval town located on mountains at South of Rome and next to Latina. If you have opportunity to visit this nice place and its castle, then don't miss Chichibio, a nice tavern located right on the central way of Sermoneta. It is simple family running place but fulfilled of relax and comfort. Tables are tiny and suited both for Summer and Winter times. Keepers are friendly and helpful. We tried turistic menu offer and we weren't disappointed. Wine of the house was wonderful as like as rosmarin bread. The first course included hand made pasta, second course was grilled meat served with fresh salad or rosted potatos (meat selection was good just a bit too much burned). Final good surprise was price. Complete menu for 2 persons at less than 40â¬. Definitively a place worth to return.
