Had a combo plate with Baby Back and Kansas City Style. Ribs were tender and flavorful with just the right amount of smokiness. Had 4 different style of BBQ sauces, Chipotle, traditional, Carolina and mustard. Pulled pork and the brisket are usually good here also on other visits. Good selection of side. Full liquor bar and large beer selections.

My wife and I met a friend for dinner here late afternoon. This establishment is similar to Bosten Market, Chapolte, and Panara with cafeteria style ordering. Wife had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and sweet potato. She said the slaw was amazing. My fried had the beef, I had rhe pulled chicken and green beans. Did not seem to be an overwhelming smoky flavor on the meat. The restuarant did provide 6 sauces on the table that were fun to try. My green beans were amazing. This place is America proud and celebrates the military and first responders. A great place to take you favorite veteran or service member for a lunch.

OMG, I can't believe no one has written a review about this food truck yet! I just happened to pass by it on the way home from work one day. I could see and smell the deliciousness coming out of that smoker. I knew I had to try it one day. Well, I finally got a chance to try it this week and it was way better than I expected. It's located in a vacant lot on the corner of MLK and Pine St. You can't miss it. There's a big sign in that lot. The food truck is there Wednesday through Saturday only. Just be aware that they aren't always there right at opening time. I promise you though, it's worth the wait. I ordered the Smoked Rib Dinner which comes with 2 sides. They have about 10 different side dishes to choose from (some are seasonal). I got the collard greens and the turkey rice. I also got the Smoked Mullet Dip. Everything was absolutely delicious. This is total comfort food at its best. I also got the BBQ sauce on the side just in case I didn't like it. I obviously didn't need to do that. It was the tastiest sauce I've ever had. Their BBQ sauce is a combination of sweet, tangy, and spicy. I've never had anything like it before. The ribs were huge! You can tell that these people really know how to smoke their meats. It wasn't too salty, and it had so much flavor. I actually shared the dinner with my mother. There was no way I would have been able to eat this whole dinner by myself. Yes, the portions are also huge. We totally enjoyed the side dishes as well. The collard greens were seasoned very well. I wish I could make collard greens taste this good. The turkey rice is now my favorite side dish. It had bits of smoked turkey leg inside the rice. It was so good! I was totally full by the time we decided to try the smoked mullet dip. I'd never had mullet before so I figured this was the best way to try it. The dip was very spicy, but in a good way. We had it on Ritz cracker. It was also delicious. I could see the bits of smoked mullet in every bite. I've been thinking about this entire meal ever since. I told a couple of coworkers about it. They went there for lunch the very next day. They loved it too. I'm looking forward to trying the smoked brisket, smoked mullet, and their other seafood options (crab legs, crawfish, and shrimp). I also want to try their homemade sweet potato pie. I'll definitely be back. I can't wait to bring some of this good BBQ home to my husband. I know he'll love it just as much as I do.

OK, it's a Bar-B-Que joint and it supposed to look "rustic". But the pleasant surprise was the food and the price. I had the "lunch special", a sandwich with two "sides" and it was more than I could eat... the small one! You have a choice of beef or pork and I had the beef and it was lean. My friend had pork and it too was lean. Everything was just right and the bill was about $15 for 2-people with iced tea. Oh, you need to try the "corn casserole"... it is like desert and one of the "sides". If you like Okra, that was stellar and they have a "Parmesian Ranch" dipping sauce for it. We both sampled the various "sauces" and liked the "Mustard" best.. It is just like what is served in South Carolina.
