We had a hankering for steaks with fries etc . A bit tired of pasta etc. My partner had the fillet steak accompanied with a wonderful peppercorn sauce and I went for the 350 g Angus Americano. Saw some good looking burgers go past to other tables. An interesting wine list with some well priced Dorgali reds .Great steaks and service and reasonably priced.Note they have horse on the menu.

Don´t really understand, how this place has so high rating as I came here based on good reviews of others.I don't remember your visit, and I don't understand the vote because you say it's all regular, thanks anyway

Had a great evening here with friends. The place isn't as hard to find as many other agroturismo in Sardinia. The highlight of the meal for us was the ravioli which was just superb. The pork was also wonderful and the fresh ricotta with honey was also very good. The service was friendly and most helpful. The owner even offered to drive some of our party to Alghero when their taxi failed to show up.

It is great to be able to taste in a single dinner several different high quality cuts of meat by tasting a good wine or a handmade beer.
The Italians sure know how to cook their steaks. Melt in the mouth perfectly cooked steak, absolutely on point. Nice little cosy restaurant just off the Main Street. Large choice of steaks on the menu chosen by weight and cut, staff are good at explaining. My only gripe was I should have ordered a bigger steak.

Following an enthusiatic recomendation, we booked dinner at the Agriturismo Nuraghe Murtarbo. Despite knowing the area around Lago SantaLucia quite well, wewould not have found the place without the few sparse signs along the unmade roads that lead to this idyllic place. The farm is quite big but most of the animals are sited within a few hundred metres of the farmhouse and it was lovely seeing the animal collection and a display of milking before settling down to dinner. I was looking forward to the mailaletto and pecora that were being roasted on the spit, but there were about 10 dishes to enjoy before the meat was served. Many of the dishes were specialities of nearby villages and everything was delicious. Following the meat were sebadas and mirto and there was plenty of a very gutsy Cannanou to wash down the meal. The family are charming and made us feel part of the family.Food, aperitif, wine, water, Digestif and coffee was just 28 euros.2 valuable tips. 1 Google maps does show the property if you go to maximum zoom just south of the lago Santa Lucia.2. Wear something with an expanding waist!

we visited Cagliari in August and even though it is considered high season, we were surprised that so many restaurants were closed... Apparently some restaurant owners think it is a great idea to go on holidays when it is the peak of tourist season.. Anyways, we were really lucky to find a restaurant like this one,with DELICIOUS pizza and funny guys working there. They even got a friend who could speak perfect English to help us choose the right pizza ;) Awesome value for money!We highly recommend for delicious pizza and really friendly atmosphere!

Everything is fresh and reinvented with a modern approach. Starting with the unusual raw swordfish garnished with olive oil, strawberries & radish to the terrific fresh tagliolini with prawns & cherry tomatoes. Wide range of fresh desserts also featuring a peach tiramisu', cherry cheesecake and a special Sardinian cannolo made with fried carasau bread and abbamele.Starters are a bit pricey but you would miss a number of tasty plates such as octopus salad, snails in tomato sauce, a couple of carpaccios. Forget Sardinian menus filled with frozen bland ingredients, this trattoria uses local fresh produce only. The experiment is quite successful and you won't find such bold cuisine anywhere else in Northern Sardinia.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch a couple of weeks ago while driving through Sardinia. While we spoke just a little Italian and they spoke very little English, we all managed, with the help of Google translate, and the result was a fabulous lunch. Almost everything was from their farm so very, very fresh and delicious. Starting with fresh pecorino cheese and charcuterie, then delicious ravioli followed by very nice meat and vegetable dishes. You won't leave hungry! Costantino was so friendly and the meal was very memorable. If only our memory was better since we left our camera behind after lunch and didn't realize until hours later when we were nearly to our next hotel in Cagliari. Costantino and his wife are so kind, they arranged with our next hotel in Cagliari a unique method of retrieval...they gave our camera to a local bus driver whose route took him to Cagliari and we simply met him at the bus station in Cagliari the next day to pick up our camera! Who, nowadays, would do something so very kind! That tells you all you need to know about Costantino and his wife. They are the kind of people that go above and beyond and they deserve the very best. We highly recommend Su Connottu!! Thank you, Costantino!

A veritable multi-course feast with fresh organic ingredients from the local farms, all amazingly light. There is one seating at around 20 45 and a set menu, with generous quantity of excellent, sulphite-free, house wine. Nice local bread and cheese, too, and lovely seating under the olive trees.
