Delicious food and a friendly welcome. The lady owner was a delight and kept us right on our food and drink choices. Very reasonably priced. Our friends stumbled on this place by accident and lucky for us that they did. A bit off the beaten track. We will return.

Good grilled meat, especially the small lamb kebabs (arrosticini). Good atmosphere, good service, good value (60 euros for 2, 4 courses, wine/coffee/digestive drinks - difficult to find those prices in Italy now. Our second visit and will return whenever we are in the area.

Friendly staff and a great place to taste the traditional "arrosticini", accompanied by a nice selection of beers. Moderate price and great for meals with friends and family

As long as you stay on the beef cut everything is fine, no matter what you take. We had some starters: carpaccio followed by veal rolls with rocket and gorgonzola cheese, both raw of course. Supreme. The dinner continued with a special Japanese breed - Kobe Wagulem -(now bred in Italy) grown with hand massages and music. The meat was like butter.A lava stone grill is set on the table to complete the cooking as you please.Regrettably lamb was not the same, too old and salty in my opinion. Arrosticini (lamb skew) was different: hand made, tasty... Delicious.Overall the experience was good and the cost perfect for what we eat (in comparison to the "matured" one I have to buy in the UK for the same price). Interesting wine list, though I would have expected my red wine being served chilled.Things that can be improved are the dessert list, with a better home made selection and the toilet that were not clean (at the very beginning of the service) nor supplied with soap and towels. They are also not in line with the standards.Last but not least, there should be more coordination between the kitchen and the grill. In fact, we have been served (delicious - with the exception of fries) local vegetables way before the meat, which almost forced us to eat bread.Final note about the owner: Dino is a very nice person, with plenty of experience when it comes to meat (he used to be a butcher for 10 years before opening the restaurant).

We were in the area and wanted to have a bbq on the beach, so we stopped here, on what we thought was the main road. We wanted some salsiccia (sausages) but Mr Mancini had sadly ran out.... When he saw our disappointment he started slicing a big piece of meat then chopped it and then put it in the mincer and he "magically" made fresh salsiccia for us, there and then. Everything in 10 minutes or so. Pure Art. Delicious stuff! And don't forget the arrosticini (small tasty skews)!!

Iâve been traveling throughout Italy for almost 3 months now and this was the best seafood dinner Iâve had!The food was excellent, great wine selection, very charming atmosphere and Alice my server was on it!! Really loved this place enough to want to extend my visit just to have another dinner!I was very unfamiliar with the area and traveling alone, so the owner called his friend to come so I could follow him back to where I was stayingAmazing experience from start to finishMore than highly recommended!

Trabocco is a wooden structure above the sea used for fishing with huge nets hanging off wooden booms usually forty metres off the beach. Some of them during the summer months become fish restaurants. At this particular one it is best to leave the menu to the restaurant. What then happens is that you first get a prosecco aperitif then this is followed by numerous fish antipasti, by pasta tasters and by a fish main course and a sweet to end it all.If you like fish then this is the right place for you as it is fresh and delicious. Of course, the setting is also fantastic as you are poised metres above the sea. However, the structure is solidly built as it has to overcome the winter weather. If I am back in the area I will certainly visit it again. It is always better to book because if you don't you may be turned away.
