We had an excellent dinner here. Sweetbreads and the scallops special entrees were excellent. Pretty room, decent reasonably priced wine list, good service. Only complaint meriting a downgrade from 5-stars was that the special scallops entree was 42 Euros, much more than almost every other, and that was not mentioned by the waiter. A special should not be so expensive,or if it is, the waiter should disclose it. We last went to Chez Camille 7 years ago and tried it again last night. The bouillabaisse was outstanding. The new owner has definitely raised the standard of the food. Special mention to the Calamari cooked on the feu de bois. Had lunch with friends on Sunday . This place is fantastic . The food was really wonderful- recommend the steak tartare and the beef. The prices are not cheap but that was comes with eating at such hip places in St Tropez . The service was very efficient ( waitress initially not friendly and quite rude but she mellowed after a while ) . The venue is understated but very kool . We returned for cocktails that evening after beach time and lovely vibe . Cocktail list was excellent and there was a dj on the beach front of the restaurant . Great people watching ! Highly recommend .

We had just arrived from Paris on a Wednesday and managed to get a table late in the evening, the staff were very courteous and helpful, we valet parked (free) our rental car and were seated immediately, the room was still relatively busy but had several tables available, all the wait staff were turned out in very chic outfits with lovely red sweaters, we tried our broken French but were put at ease as all the staff speak good English, this is an upscale restaurant and although not cheap it delivers wonderful food, I had the best steak I've eaten in a very long time, my wife had the steak tartare, this too was the best she had ever had!! The wine list is extensive, we had a lovely bottle of local red for about â¬55 and we finished off with lovely deserts and coffee. Everyone made us feel comfortable.
