I was at a church nearby and used TripAdvisor to find a place for lunch. It was a great find. Delicious chopped brisket on an equally delicious baked potato. The cobbler was calling me but I was full - next time! They had apple and peach cobbler.

Four of us stopped in for lunch after golf at nearby Fossil Creek. Server Kristin was friendly and provided great service. Our sliced brisket sandwiches were piled high with tender brisket. Decent fries and tasty beans were chosen for side dishes. The place is large, clean and affords comfortable casual dining

We took our of town guests here on a Saturday after visiting The Stockyards hoping to let them sample true Texas style BBQ. It was just average. Nice setting, clean, good sides and friendly service but there many places in Fort Worth that do a better job creating BBQ with a real flavor.

We had a great lunch here. I loved the fried brisket bites. Super tender with great flavor. My flat iron steak was cooked perfectly. A great lunch with good prices and plenty of food. The bbq sauce was delightfully warm. It was sweet and tangy. Would gladly go again.

Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q serves Real Texas Bar-B-Q seven days a week. They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and group meals.
Rudyâs catered an event my co-workers and I attended and we were pleasantly surprised with the spread of food. The setup was fairly basic with two different types of bread (still in the plastic grocery bags) for making sandwiches, two plastic gallon jugs filled with sweet and unsweetened tea, big aluminum filled with a variety of meats and sides, squirt bottles of homemade BBQ sauces and all the plastic utensils and paper plates. We enjoyed a wide variety of their menu:Beef brisket was tender and flavorful.Smoked sausages had a slight kick but was very good.Smoked turkey was surprisingly moist. The spicy BBQ sauce with a liberal amount of pepper was my go to sauce as it was rich and tangy.Potato salad was creamy with good texture.Creamed corn was a bit too rich with lots of sweet cream. The tea was better when I mixed the two types of tea together to cut the sweetness. After this experience, I will be going back to eat in their restaurant. This is great to hear! Thank you for sharing your experience. We look forward to your next visit!
