My son never eat dessert but the compliment from the house(organic pumpkin cream) was the first dessert he falled in love with it.From this day during our holiday we had dinner every day there :)
The only Austrian Apres Ski Bar in Borovets on the piste, live music, DJ, Open comps.
This is the trendiest place in Borovets ! Food is delicious , homemade and organic ! You can literally ski in and out of it . The choices are fantastic : lunch or dinner whenever you visit. Lovely live music, staff speaks fluent English . Recommended food ( for me and my family ) is chili nachos and brilliant chicken soup, but literally everything from the menu is amazing ! A must place to visit if you visit Borovets winter or summer . Prices are reasonable and the place is clean and spotless !

We are a small family business run for more than 15 years. We are happy to welcome you and serve you traditional Bulgarian food, typical for our region. We try to revive some almost forgotten recipes and use veggies and wild fruits from our forest. We'll
This is a true family-owned restaurant with excellent food. That's why I wonder why they don't post a good direction sign on the main street - the one they have is hardly visible.Otherwise, it's a magic place, especially taking into account that the owner of the restaurant is a legendary person in Bulgaria, who was not only one of the top skiers in Bulgarian history, but also supervised construction process of the biggest ski lift in Borovets (Yastrebnets) tourists use daily. We were really lucky to meet him and talk to him.I would heartliy recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and opulent Bulgarian food. Roasted pork and kebabs there were definitely the best we tried in Borovets.

This pizza restaurant actually offers more than just pizza and offers a large varied menu. We plumped for pizza and were really impressed with the speed of service and the quality of the food. The restaurant offers seating both inside and out - we managed to get an outside table on a warm sunny evening which was a bonus. A lovely place to visit and the prices are very reasonable too
A midium-size restaurant located just a few kilometers before the entrance to Rila monastery. Trout caught locally and served grilled, was quite acceptable, and cevapi were not that great.Beware that this restaurant may not accept credit cards so count your cash before ordering! Smoking and non-smoking sections are offered.

We offer grilled fresh trout which we catch in front of you. We produce homemade vegetables and prepare different meals from them. The most popular are our beans soup, french fries, salads, ice-cream. In our BBQ you could also taste different kind of BBQ-
We had lunch here after our visit to the bear sanctuary and really enjoyed the whole experience. It is a family run place with dad in charge of the BBQ and two daughters in charge of taking orders and serving the food. Mum is somewhere around in the kitchen preparing salads etc. and it is all done either a smile. The menu is varied and everything is freshly prepared at very reasonable prices. We loved it!

Typical Bulgarian restaurant, located in the village of Rila on the road of the same monastery. Classic Bulgarian cuisine, using old recipes from the monastery. Nice place to spend a while enjoying our delights in good company, our trout and the wine of t
Genuinely a positive surprise. Brand new furniture / decor. Clean bathrooms. Super friendly service (speaks decent English and Spanish). Reasonable menu. Food was good, coffee/cake was also good. Prices were extremely reasonably (...and things âoff menuâ werenât a rip off). We came for coffee first on the way to Rila Monastary, and then decided to come back for lunch on the return journey. Highly recommend. (Also an ATM nearby)

The local skillet dish is definitely not one for the faint hearted. What a challenge to finish it all and a "flaming" excellent belly buster oozing with flavour.Good service with an easy going singing duo to accompany your fine food and drinks. Log fire sets off the welcoming homely feel.Great choice of local dishes to choose from that were thoroughly enjoyed by all in our party. Its well worth the extra walk further down the hill so don't overlook it because of its location away from the main central selection of bars and restaurants.

You already have Hotel Alpin Borovets on the site, however I want to rate only the restaurant.
Part of the Alpin Hotel, we were seated by the window and to our delight, a hot radiator! The menu is varied with dishes from around Europe and wider. We shared the traditional Bulgarian baked cheese dish which was divine, then I opted for another Bulgarian dish for my main. This stew was tasty and warmed me right up. The food came out when it was ready, therefore we had the cheese simultaneously as our mains.Tried & Tasted: Baked Cheese with Honey & Walnuts; Chicken Gyuvech with Rustic Bread
