Touro Churrascaria offers a unique dining experience that is unlike the traditional Western-style steakhouse, we use a fixed-price dining concept known as âRodÃzioâ. This service style features continuous table-side service of a wide variety of select cut
Many time I went Saturday night and everything was very good, good food, good service, 4 1/2 star over all. BUT, the last 2 times I went for lunch ( once weekend, once week day) the service was very slow, choice of food was very little, the buffet part was not impressive. I don't know if the really dropped or only for lunch they don't care.

Heading to Toronto? Before you get downtown, stop off the Trans Canada Highway for a light lunch or relaxing dinner at Bâton Rouge Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Thornhill.
Just came back from this restaurant. We haven't been here for a very long time so I asked my husband to take me out for my 75th birthday there. I indulged in the shrimp and rib dinner at $36 a plate..3 tiger shrimp that were not fully peeled over 10 oz ribs (half the size that they used to be). The ribs were soft BUT they put the shrimp on the ribs and over everything was this disgusting, disgusting chemical sauce that was putrid. I thought I was going to throw up (and I don't normally). I remember their tomato based BBQ sauce was delicious and beautiful long ribs. If I am paying for shrimp, I want to taste the succulence of the shrimp not some chemical crap over them. Well, needless to say, I thanked my husband for taking me out and NEVER NEVER AGAIN to Baton Rouge. Another restaurant down the drain. We are sorry to hear about your unsatisfactory experience. Please contact management at (905) 764-6959 and ask for Alex or Manal so we can make it right for you.

We had been here once before many years ago and remembered it being a great experience. This time was not at all how we remembered it. Our family of four went for dinner on a Saturday evening. It was busy but not crowded, yet! We ordered with little help from a server who did not suggest amounts or dishes to pretty much "first time" customers even though we asked many questions and seemed indecisive. In the end we ended up ordering waaaaaaay too much food and felt terrible about being so wasteful. They served us warm tap water (no ice even after I asked for some) in not the cleanest glasses. Our BBQ items were several kinds of meat, beef, chicken, lamb. shrimp (with shells and heads still on--VERY difficult to peel and eat afterward) and some salmon. Our grill became very dirty with charr after a short time but no-one came to change it out! As a result it started to smoke so much that we could hardly sit at our table. So, I began to scrape off what I could. This way we could at least finish grilling what we ordered and not die from smoke inhalation! I had to do this several more times before the end of our dinner.I should stress that when the place starts to get busy, and all the grills are going, it gets really warm and RIDICULOUSLY smokey!!! Your hair, your skin, your clothes, purse and coat all smell like you sat around a fire pit all night, which you did I suppose! Either way, I wouldn't suggest going anywhere afterwards, the smell is overwhelming for hours and lingers for days! I had to wear a different coat to work on Monday! And let me be clear, I LIKE the smell of fire/BBQ just not for the long.As for the quality and taste of the meats and other dishes, they were simply BLAND! They looked seasoned but all I tasted was salt. Kimchi smelled like manure? Seaweed salad had very little taste. I can honestly say I did not enjoy any part of the meal. I only gave this place a 2 star because its a cool idea and I like the idea of grilling my meats fresh. I think I will have to try another place in the future, luckily this place did not turn me off to Korean BBQ entirely. Will not return.

My wife and decided on early dinner yesterday...we walked in and was greeted bt a young man who seems very nice.....he took us to the right side of the dining area when we asked if we can sit outside....the young man who i gather was a wait staff stopped and handed us the menus...informed us to make our own way to the patio and sit ourself down....we were both stocked.....i guess since it wasn't his section..he couldn't care less.....we made our way to the patio and sat ourselves....waited 10 minutes..nobody cane by so we decided to go to Kelsey instead...but on the way out we talked to the manager about our experience..he apologized for what had happened....he charmed us back to the patio and the food & service was great as usual.....but i was surprise the manager never offer us a free appetizer or desert for our initial experience with the server who greeded us....my wife us more forgiving than i.....i would had ealk over to Kelsey.....for the management team.....make sure you coach your staff in customer service a bit more...and not just gave your customer the menu..to have them sit themselves....
