Saw some reviews on TA and thought we'd give it a try. Walked over, looked at the menu (pics of the food are nothing to brag about) and thought perhaps we'd have a drink and try a small appetizer before committing to a dinner. As I said, the reviews seemed okay and it was a close walk.Almost seconds after sitting down our menus were tossed on the table, no hello, no smile, no acknowledgement other than the menu tossing. Well we sat there for more than 10 minutes while watching the waiter, laugh with friends, play on his cell phone and not a look, not any acknowledgement, absolutely nothing.Well Mr. Old Wild West, change the pictures on your menu, they do not justice to food, provide some training for your staff and hire someone with some skills!In the end, we did not eat anything, drink anything as we couldn't get anything. Over the years, the TA reviews have rarely let us down but this place wins that Gold Star! Absolutely shameful in an era of high competition and social networking allowing us to share our experiences.

We stumbled upon this restaurant during an afternoon in Cosenza. What a wonderful surprise as this restaurant far exceeded our expectations for a nice sit down lunch. The menu is divided between Tuscan and Calabrese dishes. Food was exceptional - some of the best that we had in Italy. We took the servers recommendation and had the pasta made from chestnut flour with guanciale .... a revelation! All of the food was excellent. Service was very good, think friendly but very professional. Small place seats about 25 - wood paneling, table cloths and crystal. Exceptional value - would have happily payed twice as much. If you are in the city you must go - I am looking forward to going back day.

Cena tra coppie di amici.Iniziamo con degli antipasti (mozzarella di bufala in carrozza, mix di polpette), davvero gustosi.A seguire, degustazione di carne (tenera e saporita). Buoni anche i contorni (patate 'mblacchiuse ed insalata con noci e parmigiano) ed i dessert (forse un po'piccolo il tortino con cuore caldo). Da bere, due bottiglie di un buon rosso. Servizio presente e cortese. Conto giusto. Ritornerò di sicuro per provare qualche varietà di carne presente sul menù che ha già stuzzicato la mia curiosità .

We had lunch here today and it was great! Nice clean seafood restaurant. We had antipasto of the house (combination of lovely fried seafood, salads and rafish). We had the daily pasta with black olives, zucchini flowers and acciughe which was highly tasteful. Chocolate cake, sorbetto al limone and grappa after. Have made reservations again for the next day!

Amazing meat cuts, grilled to perfection! We order podolica, Argentinian and black pork dishes and all were amazing. Grilled zucchini and aubergines or potatoes on a skewer as side dish are perfectly cooked! Service is simply excellent, ready to satisfy any question about both dishes and wines! We've got "il gatto" and "la volpe" as our waiters and they were very knowledgeable about their menu understanding our personal preferences and ready to advise the best for each. Must add the wine list is excellently chosen mostly from regional wineries. I'll come back again and again.

Best meat in town! Excellent service and food! All cuts are of great quality and if you want to keep it cheap the entrecôte in all varieties is superb!
