We have been coming to this restaurant for the last 5 years and up until 2016 the food has been amazingThe meal we had last night was very disappointing. They have changed the menu, and what we had was worse than home cooking! Very ordinary grilled food, with badly cooked vegetablesSuch a shameEspecially as they still charge as if it's fine diningPlus the service was v slow

Basic interior restaurant with a small card. They offer mainly the traditional tomato bread with meat or fish on top. We went for the chicken variety and it was wonderful. Beside we ordered stuffed mussels and a kind of fritter fish ball. All very delicious. Staff are the owners. Very friendly and charming couple.

I was first taken to this place well, lets just say decades ago !! in the 1970's. The place hasn't changed (apart from having Wifi). Went last week for a family birthday. We almost always have the same shared food choices. That is, Sopas Mallorquina (I think that is my favourite), Fritio, Blood sausage (2 types) a bowl of snails and to follow Lamb Chops. All cooked on the grill in the corner of the room. We always start with a plate of P'am Boli, toasted of course, with tomatoes, and olive oil. You have to just have the one piece or you won't make dessert !! If I have room, I always have their home made Almond ice cream, usually I have it with a shot of vodka (I know, that's what I thought too, but try it, you won't regret it!!), but as I was driving I had just the ice cream, which is still great. With the coffeet they bring two bottles (sweet and dry) of their home made Hierbas. The trick is to mix a bit of both, and enjoy with a coffee (or two) when not driving. The wine, unless you chose a bottle they will bring you a jug of to be honest a bit basic white or red wine, which is improved by adding gaseosa, The place has been run by the same families for years, and is hugely popular with locals and tourists alike. If you go on a Sunday you will have to book or wait for a table. Is it 'Authentic' (Rough and Ready), yes. The food is basic but well cooked from quality local ingredients, and from meat suppliers close to the restaurant that also are the same for decades. There are I am sure many similar places, but I have been coming to this one forever and apart from the prices (which are still low) it hasn't changed. If you want a genuine experience of Mallorca, this is as real as it gets, at least as a dining experience. Try it. You might get hooked too!
