Barbecue is what we do!
Try the early bird special before 6. Comes with brisket, just ok, chicken, very good and ribs, yummy. Includes 2 sides I recommend scallop potatoes be one of them. The bring three different breads, the cornbread is the best. They also offer salads and sandwiches.

Nine of us celebrated the birthday of one of our daughters at Moa. We ordered family style two chicken dishes (one spicy), a pork and a beef dish. Also, two orders of the clear rice noodles. All the usual Korean "small" dishes (constantly replenished). There was plenty of food for us, and we polished it all off. Quite tasty, One of our sons is a "regular " there, and we can see why.

Very good. Nice side dishes of condiments for the Bul-go-gi which was cooked just right! Pleasant atmosphere with pop/80s music on the low side. Wonderful service. I will return...will try the short ribs next time!

Being a resident of Walnut Creek, where lack of parking has ruined many a restaurant, coupled with ruthless parking enforcement, my reviews always include parking. No prob here as SunValley Mall parking is plentiful, though at peak times, you may have have to hunt a bit.The restaurant is not within the Mall, but is clearly visible from Contra Costa Blvd. For a place that prides itself for its ribs, my ribs that came with the family meal-deal, 2 varieties including St.Louis, we're both "dry as dust", and the delicious sauce in which it was cooked could not overcome the dryness probably caused by sitting in a "hot table" too long. The half chicken that came with the deal was juicy and tender. But my biggest disappointment was the BURNT ENDS- sorry guys, call it what you will, these were not the real thing, but chunks of pork trying to look like the real thing-for shame! Rather than cheating, better to say"Sorry, we are out of this item!" The desert list is not long but judging by the SNICKERS ICE CREAM PIE WE SHARED, it is very tasty and a bit different. Overall, lacking in quality food preparation for which big portions cannot compensate!Richard Hurley,Walnut Creek

I had an urge for Hawaiian food on this wet and cold day. I came in here and ordered a piece of Spam Musubi and the BBQ Chicken Saimin. It was all good, but not quite like it is in Hawaii. I normally like to order their Chicken Katsu, but today I wanted hot soup and some Musubi. It was fine for what it was. I'll come in periodically. Don't expect five star dining, just the basic staples of Hawaii. I enjoyed it.
