We have spent 2 weeks at Pescoluse renting a Villa. We then rented a place at the Lido Venere for these 2 weeks.Everything was great, the beach, the seating place, the restaurant. We have been spoilt during our vacation. A Big thanks to Fabio who has made our 2 weeks a dream, the service was really good. I usually except high service during my vacation, I did not think to find this in South of Italy - I was wrong, you can read my others reviews and see that I travelled a lot therefore with high expectations.This place made it all, my 2 kids enjoyed the placeThe sea is clean, clear like in SardiniaI would recommend anyone to go to this Lido and spend a wonderful day there.I would recommend to book it months in advance to ensure you get the best place in front of the seaThanks to all the staff who has made our vacation a dream

Classic local Italian food well priced with large portions. Freshly grilled fish and antipasti were well cooked. The waiters were cordial and helpful. Nicely set tables unfortunately with the classic plastic chairs not very comfortable when you are out for a long romantic dinner.

We enjoyed the setting of the Restaurant, but the food was 'just ok'. Service was a little slow but they had a large party they were attending too and our waiter didn't speak much English and our attempts at Italian were shameful:-) Overall, it was pleasurable.Thank you for choosing and reviewing our restaurant, surely your visit will have happened at a time when we were full.See you soon

Excellent Hotel La Collinetta, the Italy that deserves to be known for excellence, quality, passion, great honesty and unique landscapes! We left our hearts in Torre Vado, greeted by Fernando as if we had hosted at home...; He, Lunetta, their sons and all Staff (Francesca, Francesco, Mohamed...) stand out for professionalism, care, passion and love with which to handle this. The hotel is situated in a panoramic area in the green of the sea, just a few minutes ' walk from the seafront promenade of Torre Vado. From this town you can reach just a few miles away the most beautiful sandy beaches of Salento. It is a few minutes ' drive from Santa Maria di Leuca. Within easy reach of Gallipoli and Lecce which deserves to be visited.The rooms are spacious and clean. But particularly recommend to stay here for The EXCELLENT CUISINE that will delight in simple and authentic flavors typical of Salento. This is Fernando maestro and its cuisine deserves 4 stars.To conclude ... who loves quality accompanied by professionalism and love for the profession cannot choose to stay here. For all those who are switching to Torre Vado..... i recommend book a refined and romantic dinner with excellent seafood at the adjacent restaurant "Le Scalelle". Salento is not an area reknowned for its meat, that is fine,as the local cuisine can make up for that no prob, but after several months of fish and seafood and fresh cheeses, a nice steak is surely appreciated. we found the braceria by word of mouth and rightly so. The place was first a butcher shop and still is on one half of the building.I had a strip steak with french herbed butter, which was very tasty, but my husband's burger really caught my attention. The perfect combo of Italian and American. The bun was fresh and puffy, but not prefab and the fries were great. The restaurant is geared towards a younger crowd but that was half the fun. The prices were fair, about 35 euro for two.WE went back the next days for some BBQ meat and it was all very good. We will return!

Heard that the local butcher serves some good rustic food for us meat lovers, but were a bit hesitated to go since our daughter doesn't eat meat. But thank god we went anyway! From the first seconds in this simple but cosy establishment it became clear that all our needs would be taken care of without further ado. All we had to say to our lovely hostess was "three times meat, one without."After this, the lady led us through a full feast with a great variety of hearty and tasty meat products and sidedishes with veggies, potatoes etc. Food was excellent and a great value for money, but the absolute star of the house was the friendly and energetic lady of the house who kept on surprising us with new wonderful treats one after the other. Not to mention the master himself, who also gave us a friendly welcome and farewell. Thank you both gor an unforgettable evening!

Exactly in the main square of this tiny village, you will find this hidden gem that has been a good discovery during our days in that area. The owner is really welcoming and customer minded, the staff, well they try hard and they deserve recognition for that . In August the restaurant was full , so book in advance, I guess off season things are much quieter. It has outdoor tables and indoor, during the hot days it is better to dine inside as the temperature outside was too high. Starters and vegetables are delicious and melting in the mouth, the meats were good still not unforgettable .Good and fairly priced wine selection , wonderful bread , altogether a real good moment . Highly recommendable

Macelleria con osteria adiacente. Carne di ottima qualità così come la cottura azzeccata. Prezzi inverosimili!!! 1 entrecote buonissima/patatine/1birra/1 acqua nat/1 hamburger di pollo = 22 EUR ????!!!!!A differenza delle stesse macellerie/osterie del Nord, qui ti addebitano il prezzo della carne al banco!!!BRAVI, ONESTI e cordiali.

We have been here first time attracted by lm 0 product and quality home made food. We have found an average ordinary appetizer, just decent first courses and very bad second fishes, one terrible chicken that was boiled with one prune and with apricot and one home made sausage that seemed to be stuffed pu with tripe of the pork. Non salad or side proposed. Fixed menu at 23 euro with drinks apart...definitely not the worth of standard in Salento and Italy in general.
