You know how you try to be proper and pull the meat off the rib with your fork even when it is almost falling off...Well. I tried that but after one rib I gave up and dove into my dinner. I had an order of the BBQ smoked ribs that cried out to he picked up and stripped of it's meat with my teeth! Four large ribs.... Tender meat... Smothered in a tasty BBQ sauce with a little spiciness... Was a real adventure! Accompanied with potato salad and coleslaw .. the coleslaw was good but there was something about the potato salad that did not quite remind me of mom's. The restaurant itself is roadside on the main road and is open to all the noise and exhaust fumes and while not a fatal flaw dies prevent me from giving top marks to this place.. Still... Have to rate it as 'finger licking good"!Thank you for the great review! We're sorry you weren't able to give us 5 stars due to location, but glad you enjoyed everything else! We ate here for lunch and ordered grilled food (set meals as advertised outside). We thought this is a safe order, unfortunately, it still disappoints. Food was bland and service can still improve. Price is comparable with other restaurants in the area (generally overpriced).

Recommended by friends so thought we would give a try. Quite a surprise for Alona. Very tranquil place and a different spin using the granite stone to cook. Very attentive service, overall a nice meal and will go back. If you are in town is a great place in a nice setting to sit with friends for a meal. Two thumbs up.

Very friendly owner. Listens attentively to what the customers need and prefer.. Food was great! Drinks are affordable too! Try drinking with your buddies at the veranda where you can smell the sea breeze and watch the city lights amid the cool breeze while drinking shots!
