Quite simply, this restaurant deserves to be #1 on the list of best restaurants in Palmdale as well as the Antelope Valley. The staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered takeout (healthy portions in both the zesty chicken salad and catfish poâboy, not to mention the boudin balls!) and the food was tasty, well-prepared, and most importantly, was a great representation of Louisiana cuisine. We will definitely return, dine-in or takeout, regardless, great food awaits!

Extensive menu that you can mix and match for your plate lunch. Enjoyed watching them grill the chicken, fish, and beef short ribs. Had some really tasty sauces on the side and the double scoop of rice and of course the macaroni salad was great as well. No sugar added to the macaroni salad. The way I like it. Busy place, parking busy...might have been the fire trucks parked there...clean and good service. Only complaint was cost. $12 bucks for a lunch size chicken/fish plate lunch with a small coke? Hmmm

Went with a group of 4. Everyone ordered something different. Myself I had Fajitas and they were fantastic. The service was fantastic. Only had to wait about 8 minutes. Kind of interesting as there were empty tables? Perhaps staffing called out as it was Labor Day Weekend? Anyway our attendant was friendly, responsive and will definitely go back again.
