These guys are new to the Wailuku First Friday event, and what a great addition they are! It's not southern style BBQ that's doused with sauces, but marinated meats that are barbecued, exactly what I like.MENU:Steak, chicken, pork and shrimp plates and skewers.FOOD:Shrimp & Veggie Skewer - The $3 skewer had 2 pieces of shrimp, red & orange bell peppers, zucchini and a mushroom. It had a nice barbecued smoked flavor and was a great accompaniment to the steak dish.Marinated Steak Plate - The $10 sliced steak was tender, a bit fatty, cooked to medium perfection, and had a delicious sweet & savory flavor, laid on top of steamed cabbage & carrots, with 2 scoops of rice drizzled with the same sauce its marinated with. Portion size was very generous.Skewer Plate - For $10 you can mix and match any skewer combo, so I got the chicken, steak, and shrimp/veggie skewers plate, which came with 2 scoops of rice and steamed/blanched cabbage. The chicken was tender and flavored with a sweet teriyaki glaze. The steak was well done, tender, and flavorful. The veggies/shrimp were crunchy & fresh.Chicken & Shrimp Combo - $15. The barbecued and sliced chicken thighs were tender and drizzled with a tasty teriyaki sauce. I forgot how many shrimp came in the plate, around 6 I think it was, were cooked perfect. And of course there were 2 scoops of steamed white rice which also had a little drizzle of the teri sauce on top. Good sized portion for the price.Big Al's Combo - $18. From the looks of the menu pics posted by others, I don't think they sell this plate from their food truck but do so at the Wailuku First Friday event. This plate is top dawg, offering everything on their menu - sliced BBQ chicken, steak and 3 grilled shrimp all over a bed of pork adobo fried rice. Total winners! Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I'll usually shy away from fried rice accompanying already salty meats, but these guys know how not to go overboard with the sodium. Highly recommended!SERVICE:The staff are friendly and will answer all the questions you have about their menu. Plates may take a while but it's worth the wait as everything is fresh and hot.TIP:Credit cards now accepted!OVERALL:Good taste, portions, and price.

We had lunch here and the food was great, homemade fries were perfect. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because the service was extremely slow
