The service here was exemplary, but the food was less than rewarding. There was virtually no flavor to the entrees we ordered. However, the server, Audrey, did an outstanding job. We'll probably visit a Chili's again, but will pass on this facility.

Wow this place is great. The 2 meat 2 side is the way to go. The brisket and sausage are wonderful and the Mac and cheese is something else. The potato salad didnât disappoint either. Staff was friendly. Definitely will return.

I really love the smoked wings. The ribs aren't bad but taste like they are mass produced. I am not saying that they are, they just taste that way. Service can also take a very long time, even though the guys making orders are really working hard. Just a few tweaks and it could be so much better.

Fusion between old school Texas style barbecue and new age Tex-Mex
I canât say enough about these folks. I love the food so much I have visited them every TacoTuesday since they opened in October. The soft tacos offered are top notch culinary mini feasts. Fresh, bold and tasty. My fave is the Russian Roulette. Smoked chicken or pulled pork with Pico sour cream cheese and their sicario sauce.....with habaneros too! The Original Gangster (The OG) with its smoked chicken, cheese and fresh greens with hot sauce. My fave burrito is the aptly named Fire and Spice. One pound of yummy hits your taste buds with awesomeness with pulled pork (or smoked chicken) pico, pinto beans, seasoned rice with its fire.....jalapenos and hot sauce. Served with queso! Boom! Sides include charro beans and rice but I highly recommend...no demand you try the smoked veggies. Thomas only uses fresh veggies and switches things up frequently. Visit them and have what I call âa B and a Bâ....a burrito and a beer. Local brews and their very own Fire and Spice Lime Lager are offered...Happy Hour 2-5pm. Thomas and LeAndra Poux will knock you out with their fresh, tasty vibrant menu. You come in once and you will come back...a lot. Lexie at the front of the house will see to it you have the best dining experience possible.

I have not had very good luck with BBQ places in Alabama, but Lawler's was a pleasant surprise. I went for lunch and had the lunch plate special. I got a nice smoked turkey sandwich with mayo and slaw on it and a side of slaw as well. The turkey was very tender and moist with a great smoke flavor. The slaw was made with extremely fine chopped cabbage and a vinegar base dressing. I prefer coleslaw that is prepared with a creamy mayo based dressing, but this slaw was good. There were several bottles of different BBQ sauces to add to the sandwich. I tried the regular BBQ sauce and the white BBQ sauce both of which were very good. The best part was that the lunch plate which included the sandwich, a side and a large drink was less than $6! What a bargain! The atmosphere is somewhat of a hole in the wall. It was fine for lunch, but I certainly would not want to take the family there for dinner. The young lady at the register was wonderfully polite and friendly. I would definitely eat there again for lunch or get take out for dinner.Oh my goodness what a review! Can we use this as a commercial please? OINK OINK Butt...hole in the wall??? Now that we think about it, I guess we are. Not fancy...just plain good? You are so kind. Please come back over and over! God bless and OINK OINK

Lawlers Barbecue has several locations in town, but my experience has been at the Hampton Cove restaurant. The dining room is convenient for grabbing a quick meal on the go. Most of the time I use the drive through window to grab anything from a quick meal to go or a complete meal for those unexpected dinner guests that might show up. The barbecue is great in the Southern tradition, but other standard items are available too.Kenneth we thank you sir for eating with us in Hampton Cove. Glad you have mentioned the convenience of our drive thru. Hopefully more travelers will see this and us the pick up window when they don't want to get out or come in. See you soon okay? A small BBQ place near the Wal-Mart in Hampton Cove in Madison County. Technically I guess it's still Huntsville but it's over Monte Sano mountain just off Hwy 431. The BBQ is really good. The large BBQ pork sandwich is about all I can eat. They ask when you order what you want on your sandwich and I always take each thing they offer. They have a red, mild (sweet) sauce and a hot sauce as well. The hot is just about right (for me) and what that means is it won't bring tears to your eyes while eating it. The mild is not too sweet either and compliments the meat very well. Their sweet tea is delicious. IMO, one of the better BBQ places in the area of eastern Huntsville,The staff are very friendly and the portions of food are generous. It's always been very clean.
