We ate here on a weekend evening. I had the pork plate with slaw and fried corn as my sides. The pork and slaw were good. The fried corn was over cooked. Our server was attentive.

WOW! Great job! Mojo's catering group from Fleming Island prepared a whole pig for our backyard wedding reception, and it was AMAZING! They cooked the whole pig and then delivered it to our house and prepared it and broke it down for everyone to watch and enjoy. The show and process was great, and the taste was perfect. Moist, tender, and full of flavor! They do the ONLY authentic North Carolina vinegar based BBQ in JAX, and it was amazing. Everyone raved about how good it was. They also provide many other BBQ varieties too that are all delicious. Everything was delicious, the appetizers, the sides (sweet mashed, slaw, mashed pots), pulled pork, brisket, turkey. They did a fantastic job and would recommend for any private event. Everyone loved it.
If you plan to use a Groupon, avoid this place. We had friends come from out of state to celebrate my twin nephews birthday and we planned to eat there after the kids went to Bravoz. We told our friends that there was a Groupon if they were interested as they have four people in their party and we had four people as well. Well, they bought one and we bought one also. We were two separate families, that arrived in two separate cars and sat at two separate tables. BUT, because we KNEW each other, they REFUSED to honor one of the Groupons. We explained that we were separate families and it would be separate checks, but the owner continued to say it was against Groupon policy. The fine print clearly states one Groupon per table. We were at two different tables (one was a high top and one regular as we had a disabled person with us). So, bottom line, we decided to eat elsewhere and my friends and I have contacted Groupon for a refund as I canât give business to an entity that doesnât honor their own discounts and are rude about it.I am sorry you feel this was as we sold many groupons and you are the first one to say we do not honor the group. I was told when you came in to eat you said you had a party of 9 and you picked the 2 tables you sat at. so as far as staff was concerned you where 1 party please look at the fine print on Groupon. The Fine PrintPromotional value expires 120 days after purchase. Amount paid never expires. Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as gift(s). May be repurchased every 30 days. Limit 1 per visit. Limit 1 per table. Valid only for option purchased. Sonny's BBQ of Orange Park. Southern BBQ at its finest. Slow-smoking favorites like pulled pork, ribs, brisket since 1968.
FIRST, a disclaimer. We enjoy going to Sonnyâs on Sundays for their all-you-can-eat Chicken. And normally we would go late afternoon or very early evening. However, this time we got there later, about 8:30 PM Due to an unavoidable situation. They were very busy, and perhaps theyâd already been âslammedâ with previous orders. So hereâs why this less than enjoyable dinner came about. Normally, the chicken has a nice almost crispy dryness that goes well with the sweet bbq sauce. This time it was like the chicken was not cooked long enough and was very greasy. And we had never seen such SMALL drumsticks! Itâs like they must have been from juvenile chickens! And the Cole Slaw was just chopped up cabbage with no dressing at all. Very tasteless. But To be fair, we had been to this Sonnyâs several times before, and enjoyed it very much, so this was our first negative experience.

We had dinner on a Groupon here on a slow weekday and were under-impressed with the building condition & lack of ambiance. We were greeted warmly & given a table preference but the food (Filet Mignon & stuffed Flounder), though flavorful, barely met expectations. There are much nicer places to dine in Orange Park.

Restaurant was busy. We were seated and ordered within 10-minutes. Had the flat iron & boom boom shrimp...steak cooked as ordered; however, the food was borderline cold. The salad & fajitas were ok. Our server, Sadie L., was less than attentive. When asked about our appetizer we received a âI completely forgot your appetizer.â Will give this place one last visit then off to other options.Good morning, DatsTreetimez. We're sorry to hear that your food was cold and service was less than attentive at our House. I've wanted to try brisket for some time, and also try a proper American BBQ meal. This place does not disappoint. The restaurant is decorated really well and pays tribute to the Emergency Services in a very patriotic way. As a Brit in found this really interesting. The food was well priced, generous and of a high quality. We ordered brisket, fries, pastrami (salt beef), and mac and cheese. The wide range of BBQ sauces were fab and great to see vinegar on the tables, not often seen in the US. Definitely worth a visit! Thanks for your review!

4 Rivers is a family-owned smokehouse specializing in 30-day aged brisket, homemade southern sides and fresh bakery items.
First time eating here. Would highly recommend eating here. Great selection of various food. Staff friendly, knowledge helpful and always smiling. I had the stack house Cuban sandwich, baked beans, fried Orka. Sandwich was done to perfection, baked beans the best I've had, great seasoning and taste, Orka was great, however I would recommend ordering the extra crispy. Sweet tea was great. Be hungry as the Cuban sandwich was more than I could eat at one setting. Had the orange dreamsicle cup cake, great taste, not overly sweet.
