Discover Restaurants offering the best Barbecue food in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. With half a million people, Nuremberg is Bavaria's second largest city. While its history dates to the 11th century, Nuremberg is most often linked to the 20th century (specifically World War II). It first served as the site of many pre-war Nazi rallies, then was nearly leveled by Allied bombing, then was the site of the famous post-war Nuremberg Trials. The city has much to offer today's visitors, including the rebuilt Nuremberg Castle and the world-famous gingerbread at Hauptmarkt. Hansel and Gretel would have loved this place.

We were staying at the Arvena Park hotel for a week, and found this "by accident". It is quite close to the hotel, 7 minutes walk and even though it was quite full the night we went, most tables being reserved, we were lucky to get a table for two. The menu was huge! Containing a number of different dishes and the food was very nice. In fact, neither of us ended up ordering steak. The staff worked like mad, yet were very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. It took, however, a little bit of time to get the bill, pay it, and then get our coats when leaving as this was right in the middle of the busiest time in the restaurant. That should not keep you from trying the restaurant, though.

At the main market, the central square of the old town of Nuremberg, where, for example, takes place the famous Christmas Market, Block House is drawn on 05/07/2013 in a historic building. A restaurant with 108 seats and a terrace with 80 seats!
Ok we were greeted friendly when we came and found a nice table. The prizes are high in my opinion (250g rumpsteak, a potato and a slice of garlic bread for â¬25, my girl had a cheeseburger which was frankly ugly) the guy at our table was more than unfriendly and we didnât do anything wrong. Maybe his girlfriend kicked him out the other night - but still. For three plates we payed â¬70. Find something else.

We go there every once in a while and we've been ALWAYS satisfied. We always eat the steak = because this is what this place is specialized in!You can choose what kinda steak you prefer; but the best is: You can order BIG steaks (the do it by every 100 gram). We like the ambience and the service and we will surely return.

Hoserer is a cozy place with a pleasant atmosphere and a great service. Our speciality is American cuisine such as ribs, burgers, chicken wings and much more. We are looking forward to seeing you in Hoserer Rolly's American Diner.
American diner? No, just an ordinary fast food tavern.. how this place is rated so high is beyond me. Standard fries and salad, onion rings were not fully done, and most importantly the meat was not well done inside.. simply not worth the price. The service was not impressive either. The waiter asked me for mayonese and ketchup, but never showed up before I finished my meal. It also took forever to get the bill with only one other customer left...

Wow, delicious!! What more can I say? For lunch, we tried them all, brisket, pastrami, pulled pork, ribs, yum. Totally satisfying and totally the real thing! The owners are just super friendly and helpful, it is just a good thing for those of you who are into genuine American BBQ.For me, the pulled pork topped it. Tender and juicy and the bark, loved it!!! The restaurant is off on a side street so you'll have to keep your eyes open when looking for it. Enjoy! We did!
