All I have to say is that you must try their chicken tortilla soup and their ribs - outstanding!!! We first went to Ernesto's after our fishing excursion where they prepared the fish we caught 3 different ways (fish tacos, breaded, garlic butter). It was delicious! We returned a second time to try their famous ribs and weren't disappointed. The service was excellent - the owner even gave us the recipe for the tortilla soup! Make sure you have cash since their credit card machines weren't working. This was a refreshing authentic experience compared to the industrially prepared meals on the resorts. Highly recommended!

Ww were lucky to be told about this restaurant by friends. We live in the marina so not a far drive to this restaurant. The atmosphere is true BBQ from the clip board to pictures of the offerings. The staff is wonderful. All four of us had an amazing treat of BBQ pork and beef ribs. Side were amazing.. loved the Mac n cheese and onion rings. We are a,ready planning our next trip.

This is a great restaurant, I have not been to this type of restaurant. They bring a good variety of salads & vegs along with a great selection of tasty meat. The cooked pineapple was so tasty. Will definitely be back.
