We've had a stake that was great but unfortunately it was a little carbonated that made the taste less favorable, also the price of this dish was much higher than in some exceptional rewarded restaurants. Ambient is very unique, kitchen is outside like front cooking but ventilation system might be a little different. Despite that we recommend this place for different experience and good meal.

It's my second time to spend my vacation on the isloand of Pag, Croatia. Last year I visited some restaurants, and bars, and this year I decided to vist those what I liked last year. one of them is the Konoba Ankora restaurant. the place itself is about 150m from the main square of the city, You cannot mis it, just follow the street from the church. the terrace is big, but still a lot's of people waiting for the sitting. believe me, this is a good sign. worth to wait... the food is more seafood, and grill, but their pizza is first class as well. the price is affordable, the service is friendlhy, the wuality of the food is always fresh, and good, the size of the portions are huge... the only thing is, do not order soup, the making it from powder, and mine was not even cooked, the dried mushroom pieces was still crispy... I'm 25 years in hospitality business, and I was happy to see our plates, the food was the same as we ordered (the rib eye steak was rib eye, the shark was as it is...etc), they not try to screw You. also was a pleasant moment, when the waiter recognized me from last year, and gave us a free wlcome snaps. all together, a place what You have to try when You are on Pag!

group trip, went to Novalja's popular burger snack bar, Fig. we were satisfied with the service, quick and pleasant. Menu is lookalike American, burgers, fried cheese, onion rings, meat snacks, chicken snacks. variety is present. cold drinks, popular Croatian traditional Rakija drink, wines! fun and cozy, check it, up to 20 euros max.

Finally we found an acceptable restaurant in Novalja.If you want to eat a simple, fast and even good dinner in Novalja you have to try this place which is only a little walk from the center and the beach.Okay, not a 5 star restaurant, but these guys absolutely deserve 4.Friendly service, nice atmosphere, perfect BBQ meals and cold Karlovacko.I tried the Sizzling BBQ mixed plate, so I could taste almost every meats on this place. There are good with perfect textures. Only negative things that their BBQ sauce not home made unfortunately. (I think)

We rated this place as the best food in Novalja so we came back there for the second time during our week stay. I had black risotto and fried calamari and my husband a hamburger all of which were delicious. It was a shame that the waiter did not remember us and asked me during the second visit where I was from again but not once asked where my husband was from.

We have choosen this restuarant for the perfect lifted terasse. From the top you can see almost whole Novalja center. Restuarnt offers good meals for fair prices together with good service. Waiters was nice dressed and full of smiles and good energy. If you want to have good quality food with romantic view on the city... go to Stari Kastel.

PaÅ¡ticada is a typical dalmatian dish, which should be served in every Croatian coastal restaurant. Something each tourist should go for like, Paella in Spain or Wienerschnitzel in Austria, however paÅ¡ticada is much better :))). The PaÅ¡ticada at the Palma is a must!! Delicious marinated meet in a unbelievable aromatic sauce and homemade macaroni is something you need to order in this restaurant. I did in three times this summer :) . Besides that the restaurant serves much more, For example: very tasty sea food pasta, excellent ÄevapÄiÄi and something you will not get everywhere - fried cuttle-fish. Service is also great and fast, since during the season they have a lot of stuff. Location is unique, directly on a peebles/sand (in the sea) beach. This is a highly recommended place and a prototype how a Croatian beach restaurant should work.

Ordered 2 pizzas, didn't take them long to make it. I would recommend Momento Pizza because it has signature Croatian cheese that really adds the flavour to the pizza! I expected more from Restaurant which has third rating in Novalja. Food is just corect, some ingredians are local some not. I am 100% shure that lamb chops were not from Pag altought they are offered as domestic product. Octopus carpacio is great and clams too. Vine list is also corect and house wine is Krauthaker graševina which is one of the best graševina in Croatia. The best part is service which is polite and profesionaly helpful. Terace has view on parking and atmosphere is litle bit steril. Value for money should be better.
