This place is a really cool venue. Accented with a welcoming country vibe. The taplist in this place is solid, loaded with local craft beers. I went with two from Country Boy Brewing. I had both the Couger Bait and the Shotgun Wedding both were geat with BBQ. (Not to mention great names.) As for the food we were a group of four so we loaded up and shared. We had the Briket and Hot Chicaken sanwiches, Shrimp poorboy and the briket mac&cheese. All the sandwices were great. The standout was the brisket which next time I would go with the brisket platter. The service was also very good from the bartender to the wait staff. When back in beautiful Kentucky I will be returning to Edley's BBQ.Hey there, Robert! Where to eat American food in Nicholasville: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I was told they had been in business for a year. We had driven by several times and missed seeing the restuarant. It connects to a Shell gas station. I had a pulled pork sandwich and my wife and grandson a two meat chicken and pulled pork. The barbecue was a bit above average for me. It was good but I think it could benefit from a bit more seasoning. Serving size was good and I had my fill. The mac & cheese according to my wife was very good. My bottom line is would I eat there again. And yes, we will probably eat there again.
