Reviews on Barbecue food in Mykonos, South Aegean, Greece. If the mention of Mykonos doesn’t immediately bring to mind bright white buildings, turquoise skies and tanned bodies lining golden sandy beaches, you’ve been living under a rock. The most popular Greek Island in the Aegean Sea is all about energy and attracts a diverse and upscale crowd that thrives on its stylish nightlife. During the day some privacy can be had in the more secluded north beaches, but the south beaches are all party. Ski, jet-ski, windsurf, horseback ride, parasail or just save up your energy for the evening ahead, like most of your fellow travelers in Mykonos.

We've been here following the TripAdvisor chart. I don't know how you are used to at home guys but this has been the worst place to eat we've tried in Mykonos: the dishes were meager and the ingredients weren't fresh in my opinion...they had a slightly sour taste.I tried so many better places that were at the bottom of the TripAdvisor charts ...Dear Mr mediocre This is not a review it's your caracter first you have to mention what you ate in my restaurant and after you can say if the food was fresh or not my food is always fresh I think you are used to junk food so always visit restaurants that are at the bottom of trip adviser between us I think you never visited my restaurant Markos

We came here for lunch as we read the reviews on here. The waiter took longer than usual to come give us menus but when he did, he was extremely friendly and happy to give recommendations. We went with what he recommended (pork with spices and a chicken dish). Both were amazing! My partner and I both agree that it was the best meal we had here in Mykonos. Highly recommend!

There is a lot of hype about this restaurant. The public have made the hype. Inessence itâs a simple taverna selling quality produce with a beautiful setting. We arrived around noon in mid October - expecting a long line - we were pleasantly surprised ( the bonus of travelling off season) a small line of hungry international diners waited patiently with the friendly owner and his super friendly cats! We were lucky to bag a front line table. The local rose was excellent served from a tin jug into glass thimbles. The salad bar was excellent I wanted to eat more than the two choices that were allowed. We enjoyed marinated anchovies to start and a whole sea bass as main ( this was not from native waters but certainly farmed ) it was however perfectly cooked and extremely enjoyable. This is a great setting, lovely food and friendly staff - simplistically on a plate. Enjoy

The Fokos Taverna is located outside of cruise ship crowds. Thereâs is no club music and you need to have a car to find it. What you will discover is magnificent location, remote, authentic, right on the beach. The Tavernaâs kitchen will beat any restaurant on the island in head to head completion, in our opinion. Itâs just incredible selection and attention to details. You can ask to observe the grilling station and take mini cooking class while your table is getting ready.

Another great value option on Ornos similar to To Apomero. Typical Greek Cuisine and a great selection of meats and traditional Greek food.Wine is reasonably priced. A liter of house white was 10⬠and very good. We also ordered a very nice Greek Syrah which was 18â¬. Beer is 4.50â¬. Saganaki 5.50⬠and cheese balls 6.50⬠were delicious. Moussaka 9⬠and lamb chops 14⬠were delicious. Lamb and Chicken Souvlaki were also excellent. It was pretty windy so we ate inside but there are patio and outside options too. Best Moussaka so far with lots of spices. This place is not on the water but food is exceptional. Worth having dinner here for sure.
