First off the employees are very friendly and helpful. The food unfortunately isnât the best. I had the pork rib plate with baked potato. The meat was Luke warm at best, it was at a baked potato, it was some sort of a potato in a cup. It wasnât what I was expecting but it was actually not that bad. The other good thing was the free soft ice cream for dessert. Iâm not sure what the other entrees are like but as others have started the food isnât particularly hot.
My wife and I stopped here for dinner when in town visiting family. This is a clean, small, quiet place with a good tap beer selection. And the food was excellent! We had brisket and sausage, and both were outstanding, along with the sides. The beans were spicy and exceptional, the coleslaw and mac and cheese were very good. The cornbread bun was moist and delicious. The XXX sauce has a bite! Highly recommend this restaurant when you have a craving for BBQ in Minot.
Real deal Texas Que, right in Minot. It's hard to go wrong with anything he makes, but we usually get the brisket. Supremely underrated!
