Burnt Ends Restaurant

Portions are small, but very tasty. We ordered the pulled pork, burnt ends and Texas brisket, all of which were delicious. The salad was plated attractively and very good. Biscuits are not traditional, but more like fried biscuits. We enjoyed the potato salad and mixed vegetables very much. The beans were soupy--more like chili. We're ready to return and try some more of their menu items! The floor plan is open and decor is minimal. Everything is self-serve like a fast food restaurant. Employees are helpful and personable!

Throwing peanut shells on the floor is fun. Otherwise, it seems like there’s not a whole lot of original/housemade items here. I will say the coconut shrimp was quite excellent, and the shoestring fries were decent, so they’re obviously working with some quality products. But I wish there was more variety and original flavor to choose from. My boyfriend and I had margaritas, which were surprisingly good (read: not skimpy on the tequila element). Nothing here to die for, but again, snacking on peanuts while waiting for your food makes it pretty fun.

This is a mobile BBQ joint that didn't quite make it to where they could remain open daily. However, that doesn't change the fact that the owners (a husband and wife team) and some of the sweetest, dearest and most genuine people you'll meet in the food business. All the sandwiches and homemade salads are so, so good. I highly recommend trying all the homemade sauces which are good enough to drink straight out of a Dixie cup, and you must try the onion relish. OH MAN it's All So Good!!! If you have family reunion, wedding, company celebration or other events where you want to feed a large group of people large quantities of great BBQ, you should give them a call, reserve your date early and get ready for people thinking you're a genius because hired JT's Smokin BBQ to cater your function.
