Things to do in Leyte Island
When you want to have an exclusive-feels for a gathering - family or friends, this place can offer it. Location is 20-30 mins away from the city - best when you have your own vehicle. It's along the highway but it's not visible since there are no signages - just one, and too high. So, just take note of the Blessed Sacrament Parish because it is located across only. Food is ok. Availability of food is an issue because when we dine there, most of what we wanted was not available. Staff are friendly. Place was too dark, I think they have to light up the path way a little bit, since the area is very spacious. Just to add up, it's good for events, too. Overall, it was a good dining experience.
Stephanies Smoke Haus across from Robinson Place Mall and also downtown is a better than average restaurant. It is an all you can eat fried food restaurant with a limited choice of dessert. The menu is always fixed with no new or special options. Fried crab meat, fried shrimp, calereta, lechon, pansit and rice are main entres. The buffet is P250/person. Drink water because the beverages are 2 times as expensive as at the best restaurants in town (pricing scam). Stephanies is the second best all you can eat restaurant after the more expensive and creative food at Don Vicente across the street. The restaurant is clean but noise. Stephanies is comfortably decorated for pleasant eating with AC. It has a fantastic large screen LCD TV.Go at 11am or 5pm to get the most choices at the buffet. Sometime they do not refill the entree choices. Warning: Get your dessert first before it is gone.
My experience with this chain in Ormac was exceptional. This is a good inexpensive BBQ like restaurant. It was out of chicken breast the evening I went. I had chicken thigh and pork skewer.

JO's Milagrina is a Filipino restaurant that offers a full menu ranging from appetizers, soups, specialty of the house JO's Chicken Inato and JO's Pork Inato (chicken and pork bbq) and filipino favorites like Sizzling Pork Sisig, Spicy Shrimps, Milagrina
I have been eating Jo's Chicken Inato, also known as Milagrina's in all of their branches all over the Philippines. Even their Quezon City branch (which is now closed) I have eaten there.Milagrina's Chicken Inato has become their best-seller and they are known for this. But I also love their Binakhaw, a fish ceviche invented to make a difference. Instead of the usual vinegar and spices for most of ceviches (kinilaw), they use calamansi juice and mayonnaise. Yum, yum, yum!Their new product, Fresh Garden Salad is also a good way to introduce to vegetarians and the health conscious. I do not know if they are offering this in other branches, but the Chili Daing Dressing is a welcome respite. Unique and tasty!I will never tire of Milagrina's.Hi Edikdolotina,Thank you for your patronage! We are always happy to hear from our suki and the stories they share about their food experience at JO's Milagrina. Yes, our house specialty Chicken Inato has been and will always be a favorite among our customers, but we also noticed that like you, they also look forward to the new viands we add to our menu every year just like our Garden Salad with Chili Daing Tomato Dressing that we recently added and has become a fast favorite. We are glad that you've tried it too. Ormoc and Tacloban branches carry the same menu Thanka again. We hope to hear from you again. Best regards,Apple

Visited Rafael Farms when bonding with my Wife and many In-laws. The scenery is absolutely magnificent and the food matches. Seems like we drove for a while past rice fields and just rural scenery, but then, when you turn into Rafael Farms, you suddenly find a well manicured resort.
