Ordered my first curbside order. Ribs and beans. Not too complicated. Waited 20 minutes past time quoted. Called and they said it would be right out. 15 minutes later after Iâm in line at a local bbq I get a call wondering where I am and why I left. I will never go back

You have arrived - the end of the road, and the end of your search for great barbeque in East Tennessee. Dead End Barbeque was born at the end of a dead-end street where neighbors gathered to barbeque. For more than a decade the Dead End Society honed the
I used to love going to Dead End; however, after returning after many years, the food just doesn't impress anymore.i had their Burny-Mac with a side of "Sausage" Beans, they chicken, and Mac & Cheese, which came with a corn roll.unfortunately, the only item that i thought that had any type of taste was the Max & Cheese; however, it has significantly changed. The worst items were the chicken, which did not have any flavor, and the beans which didn't have any "sausage" in them (imagine soup beans). The burnt ends were ok, they did have some smoky flavor; however, they were far from being what I would call âburnt â endsâAlso, the corn roll was dry and didnât have any type of flavor.Do you self a favor, and go to another BBQ place.

It's off the beaten path but worth the drive. Pulled pork was amazing! I can't rave enough about the potato salad and mac n cheese. They have 3 sauces. Hot, thick thick and thin thin. The thin is more vinegar based which I really enjoyed on the pork. My husband liked the thick on his brisket. Take a trip for some excellent BBQ!

Went here to get some great bbq but what a surprise. Place was packed(night before UT game) and regular menu was not available. We had wanted their Trio Bbq (pulled pork, ribs and chicken tenders) and waitress said that although it wasn't offered she would have us get the pulled pork plate then add the chicken tenders and ribs and there might be a slight difference in price. The trio plate was $1550 but imagine our surprise when our bill for the entree came to $60+ with enough food for 6 people ( see below). We ate at the bar area to reduce the wait. Overall Ribs were best of the three but honestly we could have ordered the Three plates and split the order. We wish the waitress would have mentioned the size of the order being different.Thank you for taking the time to stop by and leave us valuable feedback. Please call the restaurant at (865)673-3355 to further discuss your experience. We do have a limited menu on game day; however, we can fulfill certain entree's upon request and would very much like the opportunity to make this right for you. Please ask for Kristi Larson or Toby Winters.Thank you

This is a good place to visit for BBQ ribs. The side are tasty too. Go on $5 burger day for a good lunch. Good service but high-priced for the amount of food that you get.

The original Calhoun's two-level rustic barn structure (with signature silo) provides an atmosphere filled with relics of the picturesque farmlands of East Tennessee. It is convenient to all of West Knoxville, as well as Oak Ridge and Maryville, via the P
Our family met here last week to visit with another family member who traveled in for work in town. Our waitress was so nice took pictures of our group and was attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was pleasing to all. Everyone enjoyed seeing the decorations in the old barn setting. We are glad you enjoyed your visit! We hope you all come back! We hope you have a great week!Bryan Merryman

This was our first time visiting Calhouns on our way home from vacation Friday. First, the hostess was very warm and inviting. Secondly, Sandra our server, was absolutely fantastic. We are always a little leery taking our 4 and 6 year old boys anywhere new, but Sandra immediately made us feel at ease. My husband loved the craft beer selection and I loved the bread variety served upon placing drink orders. I ordered the oriental chicken salad on Sandra's recommendation and holy crap it was good. My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger and loved it and my boys ate all their macaroni and cheese and hamburger. They also loved how their mill was served in a cardboard car. All around great visit!!! We will definitely be back!
