Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill

The ribs are good, but not worth the problems I've experienced on several visits. Most recently the sullen, mumbling hostess/waitress seemed annoyed that her nap had been interrupted by a customer. I ordered baby back ribs with their dry rub. The ribs came out soaked in sauce. When I pointed this out, she replied, "Well, I asked him if that was 'dry' and he said it was." So... a restaurant that specializes in ribs has someone in the kitchen and at least one server who don't know the difference?! I've tried carryout to avoid the incompetent staff, but regardless if you phone or order online, it's obvious that your order isn't placed until you arrive to pick it up. Even then you would be well-advised to check the contents before leaving. There are too many restaurants in this vicinity for a place this pathetic to survive much longer.

Fire Fresh BBQ

We found this place by looking at the TripAdvisor website for something near us to eat for lunch. We were at the Sam's Club off Blankenbaker and it is very close to there. My husband got the brisket sandwich with green beans and skillet potatoes. I got the pulled pork sandwich with the best potato salad I think I've ever eaten and coleslaw. The guy that waited on us was so very nice and helpful with it being our first time here. This is probably by far the best BBQ in Louisville Kentucky that I have had. It is really good and definitely worth the trip. We will for sure be back.

Had dinner here. Our waiter was very attentive. Everyone’s BBQ was good. I got the pulled chicken sandwich platter with sweet potato fries and sweet corn on the cob. It was very good. Husband got a piece of buttermilk pie free for his birthday. Very nice!

Our Famous Dave's in Huntington, Wv closed down years ago, so when we saw this one we HAD to stop. The good is still amazing. The mac and cheese is the best mac and cheese in the world, so definitely order that. We got a huge platter to try everything and to have leftovers for tonight. Our waiter, Stefan, was really good. Not overbearing, but right there when you needed something. Thank you Famous Dave's for not letting us down all these years later ❤

We were visiting the area and wanted some BBQ and found this place. The look of the reminded us of a Texas BBQ place we visit here in Colorado. That was the only similarity. As a first time visitor, the wait staff were great. Recommended a few items, and they were all great. The wife just loved the barnyard corn. I had the combo plate with honey wings. Everything was great. Manager even stopped by and we received a free bottle of BBQ sauce for being a first time visitor. Great food/price, only warning.... Parking is kind of limited if they are busy. Will stop by again on our next visit to Louisville/Middletown, KY.

I visited Holy Smokes after it was recommended to me by a guest at the hotel I was staying at. I visited early evening (6:15 p.m.) and after reviewing the menu I decided on the 2-meat sampler with brisket and pulled pork only to find out that brisket was not available.I settled for Ribs and pulled pork with fries and cream corn, again fries were not available (fryer broken) and no cream corn. I ended up with slaw and beans. A few minutes after ordering I picked up my food. The ribs were dry and cold and the pulled pork really had no flavor. The slaw was warm and I didn't eat it for fear of getting sick. I have had better beans out of a can. All in all I ended up eating very little of my meal and tossing the rest in the garbage. The guest who recommended Holy Smokes accompanied me and while he was very happy with his visit a couple of night before, he was also disappointed with this visit and apologized several times.
