Herzliya (/hɜːrtsəˈliːjə/; Hebrew: הֶרְצֵלִיָּה [hɛʁtsɛliˈja]; Arabic: هرتسيليا [hɪrtsiːlja]) is an affluent city in the central coast of Israel, at the Northern part of the Tel Aviv District known for its robust start-up and entrepreneurial culture. In 2016 it had a population of 93,116. Named after Theodor Herzl, the founder of modern Zionism, Herzliya covers an area of 21.6 square kilometres (8.3 sq mi). At its western municipal boundaries is Herzliya Pituah, one of Israel's most affluent neighborhoods and home to numerous Embassies, as well as prominent Israeli business people.

We wern't aware of this restaurant until I looked for an Argentinian restaurant in Tel Aviv. Nothing worth while in Tel Aviv, so we tried this - It was surprisingly great. The various meats were very very good, and I'm sure i will return. The place is nice and the service was excellent. My rating isn't excellent due to 2 reasons - the Tabel we were seated was in the corner near the window, not very comfortable and spacy and cold. The other reason was the coffee at the end of the meal was "burnt" and not tasty. The waiter offered compensation and was very kind.

As a vegetarian there is only so much I can say about this restaurant, but without going into the meaty details I can say that it's pretty good. Pleasant outside sitting, competent service, good drinks menu and even some veggie options (the mushrooms are delicious). An expensive place, but many restaurants in Israel are. Good option if you need to impress someone.

I popped in without any previous info, but it was no disappointment at all. Nice, family owned restaurant serving steaks and alike. The steak came as ordered (medium well), and it was presented on an amber tray (see picture). Definitely recommended.

I visited Buckaroo on one of my visits to Israel on a Saturday night. The place which is located next to a high tech business park was empty and for quite some time we were the only ones around, which was great cause we had the service all ourselves :) I found the place after searching for a BBQ restaurant in the area and reading recommendations about their lamb chops so had to give it a try. Here is my impression -- The side salad is small and poor- Carpaccio was too thick and didn't feel like carpaccio, which meant to be very thin- Lamb chops were awesome - so at that point, I couldn't care less about the rest; serves with crunchy green beans or potato - A very tasty chocolate dessert Overall the restaurant is good with what its name represents: BBQ!So keep it simple and just order that :) will definitely visit again on my next visit to the area when I feel like having tasty lamb chops.Glad you chose to eat @ BuckarooYour review has been taken for your attentionRecommend you try our tasting menuHope to see you soon
