Thatâs what it says on the sign....and itâs exactly right. Eaten here for years. Always good-food and service. Cooked to order. First time for breakfast. Cooked exactly the way I asked. Very crisp bacon and hash browns. Plus friendly people and very reasonably priced. Best breakfast in townâand far beyond.

This is a very popular place with the locals and one of the better BBQ establishments in the area. The original 17th Street restaurant is located about 18 East in Murphysboro IL. If youâre in the area, be sure to give this place a try

Grumpys' Smokehouse provides different types of food for every taste for the family. The aromatic smoke as you drive in to park makes the mouth water for the food. Grumpys' also provide outside sitting and permission allow pets to dine with you outside only.

I've been hitting this place annually for many years, and it's consistently the same... always great! Was there over Labor Day weekend and we had the ribs, a pulled pork sandwich as our entrees, with fried okra and potato salad. Everything was as I remembered and we enjoyed every bit of it! See you next year! Locals... why aren't you packing this place???
