Staying in McCleanville and looked at TripAdvisor for suggestions for dinner. Found this place about 7 miles away. Turned out be about the meatiest ribs I have ever had. Very good flavor. Plus a small cup of Brunswick Stew as a side which was a bit different but very good.If I'm in the neighborhood again, I'll be back!

Most barbecue restaurants have introduced gas or electric cooking methods, but not us! We still slow cook our barbecue over a pit of hardwood hickory coals. The brick pits are completely enclosed, except for a bit of breathing room at the bottom. The hard

The value here is extraordinarily high. $23.71 purchased: a cup and a bowl of Brunswick stew, a side of hush puppies, a pulled pork plate with hush puppies and red cole slaw, a peach cobbler, an apple cobbler with ice cream, and an unsweetened iced tea. Portions were generous without being mountainous. The Brunswick stew is excellent, and likewise the pulled pork (which comes sauced 'Lexington" style), and cole slaw. The hush puppies had good taste, but were very dry. Finally, the cobblers were solid, although by no means remarkable.Service is prompt and friendly, and parking ample. We shall certainly visit again if we pass through Greensboro in the future.

BBQ restaurant with a diner feel. Nightly specials. Pepsi products. I got the ribs and chicken combo. It wasn’t bad, just not my favorite. Maybe it was excellent and I’m just not a fan of Carolina BBQ. Waitress was very nice. Good portions at affordable prices.

Omg, I live in Asheville, NC, love BBQ, love collards and Brussels spouts, pulled, chopped, ribs...Mac and cheese! Never thought I would have collards better than Asheville, however, these collards, this meal, fantastic, fried okra and pickles, pulled, collards, buffalo fried chrome bites, I just can’t explain the atmosphere, the Amazing Food and the service before a Kenny Chesney concert, Amazing. If your driving through or live in Gboro, you got to take a moment and eat here, enjoy the atmosphere and just know your in for a treat!
