Moe's Original BBQ is a Southern soul food revival where great food is served in an atmosphere that is relaxed, spontaneous, yet civilized....well, sometimes.
We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Order when you walk in and then food will come to your table. There is outdoor seating for warmer days. Bbq was good. Banana pudding though is just pudding with a wafer. Coleslaw is really good. Will visit again soon.

This place is totally informal with outstanding barbeque. I would say it was a hidden gem but the place was packed -- lots of people agree that the barbeque is outstanding. We ordered the pulled pork sandwiches -- even the sides (baked beans, homemade chips, fries) are really good. Highly recommend. They need a bigger parking lot in addition to lots more tables.

Nice waitstaff, but I found the food average. Tried the deep fried ribs for an appetizer and they were under cooked. Price was good. Under $20 for a meal and appetizer.

For me this is one of the best barbecue restaurants in the Southeast. The Que is always excellent and every side and dessert that I have tried has been very good. The staff are friendly and helpful and the Que is plentiful... It would be difficult to eat lite at Phil's. It is worth a stop. Just a mile or so off I-81.
